Resumo: | This article aims to analyze how mothers of deaf students in the process of inclusion conceive of school and how they monitor their children's schooling through remote education. This is a qualitative research that used semi-structured online interviews as a methodological procedure. Five mothers of deaf students from a public school in Recife, who are enrolled in regular bilingual classrooms - Libras /Língua Portuguesa, participated in the research. Data were analyzed using the content analysis technique and organized into categories. The results suggest a partnership relationship between the mothers and the school, especially with the teachers. There is still a language barrier between the deaf student and the family that makes it difficult to mediate learning. In this sense, we understand the collaborative work between family and school as a possibility to overcome the challenges to the inclusion of these subjects. |

Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa que utilizou como procedimento metodológico entrevistas semiestruturadas online. Participaram da pesquisa cinco mães de estudantes surdos de uma escola pública do Recife, que estão matriculados em salas de aula regulares bilíngues - Libras /Língua Portuguesa. Os dados foram analisados por meio da técnica de análise de conteúdo e organizados em categorias. Os resultados sugerem uma relação de parceria entre as mães e a escola, sobretudo, com as professoras. Ainda existe uma barreira linguística entre o aluno surdo e a família que dificulta a mediação da aprendizagem. Neste sentido, compreendemos o trabalho colaborativo entre família e escola como uma possibilidade para superação dos desafios para com a inclusão desses sujeitos.
