From neorealism of the authorial cinema: the trajectory of Federico Fellini in the first decade as director (1951-1960)

Resumo: This article will describe the formation of the way of making movies that will be developed by Federico Fellini building on the premises of Italian neorealism cinema, which was integral. Through analysis of the social, political and cultural director, as well as relevant cinematographic movements for analysis, we seek to understand the formation of a critical and humorous style that will be known throughout the world as Fellini. Style this will be developed through the influence of the circus and clown universe and will ultimately present not only in the works of Fellini and characters, but also in their worldview.
