Work and the sociology of emotions: an analysis of the context of women performing clothing activities in the domestic sphere

This paper aims to present a discussion about home work where people are engaged in clothing activities, in theirrelationship with domestic work, in order to understand the social / sexual division of labor in these environments and theadministration of emotions. In order to do so, we will start with an analysis of the sociology of emotions, considering that fromthis perspective we can analyze the inequalities of social structures in their relationship with the feeling, the emotional and thegreat influences that can exert in this context. In treating emotions as a sociological category we open the possibility of broadeningunderstanding beyond a macro, generalizing, tradition-focused analysis. That said, to give account of the discussion will be usedin the theoretical construction of this article, authors such as Hochschild, Jaggar, Bonelli, Nunes, Kergoat, Pisciteli, among others.
