Resumo: With the emergence of a society where the ethics of duty seem to be doomed to oblivion, moral rearrangement emerges as a form of birth of new forms of rela-tionship, valorization of certain virtues and new ethical concerns. This article presents a discussion on the study of contemporary morality from Piagetian and Kohlbergian moral theories. For this discussion, we analyze the works of contemporary authors such as Bauman and Lipovetsky and the studies of Gilli-gan, Haidt and Greene on human morality. We emphasize the importance of comparing the different theoretical moral perspectives in favor of the recogni-tion of their respective contributions to moral psychology.

Este artigo realiza uma discussão sobre o estudo da moralidade contemporânea a partir das teorias morais piagetiana e kohlbergiana. Para essa discussão, analisamos as obras de autores contemporâneos como Bauman e Li-povetsky e os estudos de Gilligan, Haidt e Greene acerca da moralidade huma-na.
