Resumo: The article has as its object of analysis, the documentary rescue of the industrial heritage collection, taking as a case study, the architectural ensemble of the Leather and Footwear Technology Center (CTCC) Albano Franco, linked to the National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI), located in the city of Campina Grande, region of the “agreste parnaibano”. The objective is to carry out an imagistic and documentary rescue of the work designed by “carioca” architect Cydno Ribeiro da Silveira, in the 90s, through the decoding of its primary sources (photographs, architectural analyzes) and secondary sources (original technical boards, publications), for a functional and formal analysis of the whole. It is justified by the need to discuss industrial and modern heritage in contemporary times, which, due to the lack of appreciation by conservationist bodies and society, run serious conservation risks. Result of academic research, the article is based on a theoretical framework that dialogues with the concepts of documentation, cultural heritage, modernity – discussed by national and international authors, as will be seen.

El objetivo es realizar un rescate de imagen y documental de la obra proyectada en los años 90, por el arquitecto carioca Cydno Ribeiro da Silveira, a través de la decodificación de sus fuentes primarias (fotografías, análisis arquitectónicos) y fuentes secundarias (tableros técnicos originales, publicaciones) para un análisis funcional y conjunto formal. Se justifica por la necesidad de discutir el patrimonio industrial y moderno en la época contemporánea, que por la falta de valoración por parte de los organismos conservacionistas y la sociedad, corren serios riesgos de conservación. Resultado de una investigación académica, el artículo se basa en un marco teórico que dialoga con los conceptos de documentación, patrimonio cultural, modernidad - discutidos por autores nacionales e internacionales, como se verá más adelante.O artigo possui como objeto de análise, o resgate documental do acervo patrimonial industrial, tomando como estudo de caso, o conjunto arquitetônico do Centro de Tecnologia do Couro e Calçado (CTCC) Albano Franco, vinculado ao Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (SENAI), localizado na cidade de Campina Grande, região do agreste paraibano. O objetivo é realizar um resgate imagético e documental da obra projetada nos anos 90, pelo arquiteto carioca Cydno Ribeiro da Silveira, através da decodificação de suas fontes primárias (fotografias, análises arquitetônicas) e secundárias (pranchas técnicas originais, publicações) para uma análise funcional e formal do conjunto. Justifica-se pela necessidade em se discutir sobre os patrimônios industrial e moderno na contemporaneidade, que pela falta de valorização por parte de órgãos preservacionistas e da sociedade, correm sérios riscos de conservação.
