The street markets are sales channels of products from, in its majority, family agriculture, and they have visibility with regards to the Food and Nutritional Safety. A transversal-descripted study has been made through interviews to the managers of the free fairs of the city of Juiz de Fora, evaluating the social-economic and demographic variables, and work satisfaction. The data has been tabulated and described per frequency, the participants were males of age about 55 years-old (±9,2 years), married and living in the city. Most of the have studied from 1st to 3rd grade of high school; family income of an average of more than 5 salaries; satisfied with their jobs and work experience of more than 5 years. They report the support of the governing bodies; good receptivity from the consumers and fair workers; how important were their positions; difficulties and improvements. The street markets can count with a team for its structure and management that depends on the support for the good development of the projects. Through the present work, one can see how important is the access to knowledge, so that it can aid in the actions of Food and Nutrition Security.
