Resumo: | This work objectively discourses about activities occurred in a research and extension project made in a partnership between the State University of the West of Paraná, campus of Francisco Beltrão, Reference Centre of Social Care (CRAS), Support Centre for Family Health. The actions are part of the project objectives approved by the ethics committee of the educational institution. The project acted together with women supported by CRAS-north, who are part of the Service of Protection and Integral Family Care (PAIF). Among PAIF's activities, there are those directed to communitary actions, which involve lectures and other activities which topics of interest are brought up by the group. Health and nutrition education were the chosen topics. Highlighted in this project are the activities related to food security. The most important information obtained by applying the Brazilian Food Insecurity Scale (EBIA) is presented and discussed. The project was a place for reflection, exchange and reframing of nutrition, not only for the women part of the project, but also for the technical team, who proposed to exchange and shared building of knowledge. During the project, it was possible to identify some changes in the women's eating habits, although, it is understood that changes happen gradually and each person takes their own time to feel ready to change. |

Las acciones forman parte de los objetivos del proyecto aprobados por el comité de ética de la institución educativa. El proyecto trabajó con mujeres atendidas por CRAS-norte, insertadas en el Servicio de Protección y Asistencia Integral a la Familia - PAIF. Entre las actividades del PAIF, se encuentran aquellas dirigidas a acciones comunitarias que involucran charlas y otras actividades cuyos temas de interés son enumerados por el grupo. La educación sanitaria y alimentaria fueron temas elegidos por los participantes. En este trabajo destacan las actividades relacionadas con la seguridad alimentaria. Se presentan y discuten los datos más importantes obtenidos mediante la aplicación de la Escala Brasileña de Inseguridad Alimentaria - EBIA. El proyecto fue un espacio de reflexión, intercambio y significado de la comida, no solo para las mujeres participantes en el proyecto, sino también para el equipo técnico, que se propuso intercambiar y compartir conocimientos. Durante el proyecto se pudo identificar algunos cambios en los hábitos alimenticios de las mujeres, sin embargo, se entiende que los cambios ocurren de forma gradual y que cada persona toma un tiempo diferente para sentirse preparada para cambiar.Este trabalho objetiva discorrer sobre atividades realizadas em projeto de pesquisa e extensão realizado em parceria entre a Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná, campus de Francisco Beltrão, Centro de Referência de Assistência Social – CRAS e Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família. As ações fazem parte de objetivos de projeto aprovado em comitê de ética da instituição de ensino. O projeto atuou junto a mulheres atendidas pelo CRAS-norte, inseridas no Serviço de Proteção e Atendimento Integral à Família – PAIF. Dentre as atividades do PAIF, estão aquelas voltadas às ações comunitárias que envolvem palestras e outras atividades cujos temas de interesse são elencados pelo grupo. Saúde e educação alimentar foram temas escolhidos pelas participantes. Destacam-se, neste trabalho, as atividades relativas à segurança alimentar. São apresentados e discutidos os dados mais importantes obtidos pela aplicação da Escala Brasileira de Insegurança Alimentar – EBIA. O projeto foi um espaço de reflexão, de troca e [res] significação da alimentação, não só para as mulheres participantes do projeto, mas também para a equipe técnica, que se propôs à troca e à construção compartilhada do conhecimento.
