Estratégias heurísticas da análise geométrica grega aplicadas na elaboração de textos didáticos

Os antigos geômetras gregos partilhavam de um método secreto de resolução que, graças à descrição de Pappus de Alexandria, ficamos sabendo que consistia de um movimento em busca de um princípio fundante, a análise, e de um movimento que partia deste princípio, a síntese. Embora os historiadores da matemática sejam unânimes no que concerne ao movimento dedutivo da síntese, divergem no que diz respeito à natureza da análise. Seria o movimento da análise também dedutivo? Seria indutivo? Ou seria intuitivo? Uma vez abordada esta questão e ilustrada a natureza heurística da análise, servindo-se da Lógica, o presente texto debruça-se sobre as ilustrações do método fora do campo das matemáticas, a saber, na arte poética dos repentistas nordestinos, antes de tratar da heurística da análise como estratégia para elaboração do texto didático.Abstract: The ancient Greek geometers shared the knowledge of a secret problem-solving method that, according to the description of Pappus, from Alexandria, consisted of two movements: a movement in search of a founding principle, that is, analysis, and another movement that started from this principle, that is, synthesis. Although mathematics historians are unanimous about the deductive movement of synthesis, they diverge about the nature of analysis. Is the analysis movement also deductive? Is it inductive? Or is it intuitive? After approaching this issue and illustrating the heuristic nature of analysis, this text is intended to study the illustrations of the method in fields other that mathemetics, like in Descartes’ philosophy and in the poetic art of the Brazilian northeastern popular poets, before approaching analysis heuristics as a set of strategies for the elaboration of didactic texts.Key words: Heuristic strategies.
