Resumo: This article seeks to present the contributions of the use of MAPES (Models and Analogies’ Structure-mapping System) for research on analogies. Thus, we sought to understand the ideas, perceptions and opinions of researchers professors about the construction of mappings through this digital tool, which was conceived based on Gentner's Structure-mapping Theory and coding patterns of mapped correspondences in a analogy suggested by AUTOR C. The data collected allowed to identify, in the view of the participants, several contributions of the tool to the field of study of analogies.

Así, buscamos comprender las ideas, percepciones y opiniones de los profesores investigadores sobre la construcción de mapeos a través de esta herramienta digital, la cual fue concebida a partir de la Teoría del Mapeo de Estructuras de Gentner y patrones de codificación de correspondencias mapeadas o mapeadas en una analogía sugerida por AUTOR C. Los datos recolectados permitieron identificar, a juicio de los participantes, varios aportes de la herramienta al campo de estudio de las analogías.Este artigo busca apresentar as contribuições do uso do MAPES (Sistema para o Mapeamento Estrutural de Analogias e Modelos) para pesquisas sobre analogias. Assim, buscou-se compreender as ideias, percepções e opiniões de professores pesquisadores acerca da construção dos mapeamentos por intermédio dessa ferramenta digital que foi concebida a partir da Teoria do Mapeamento de Estruturas de Gentner e dos padrões de codificação de correspondências mapeadas ou mapeáveis em uma analogia sugeridos por AUTOR C.
