Resumo: | The purpose of this text is to present the teaching of the subject of Drawing as an important element for schoolformation and for the transformation of society, since discussions held in the 1880's showed the need for areform, based on the contents and teaching methods practiced at the time, in the public instruction of the schoolof the first letters. In order to do so, we used the analysis of the book O Discipulo Parisiense and teachingprograms, prescribed in the first decades of the 20th century in the state of Paraná. It was possible to verify thatthe way in which the work was developed made possible the practice of new methods and contents for theteaching of the Drawing. |

Para tanto, valeu-se da análise da obra O Discipulo Parisiense e de programas de ensino, prescritos nas primeiras décadas do século XX no estado do Paraná.
