Resumo: This article is my master’s research partial result, named “O Estado quer apagar as luzes da esquina: poder resistência e criminalização da homossexualidade no processo acusatório do Jornal Lampião da Esquina’’. The goal is to present the discussions about the practices of sexual regulations during Brazil’s dictatorship, one which set gay, lesbian, bisexual, and crossdressers as social outcasts in its authoritarian years. For this purpose, I intend to present a bibliographic survey with the recently published works on the matter. Approaching the foundations behind the notion of “morals and good behavior” evoked by the regime, its penal implication on press legislation, as well as its repercussion on police’s and regional’s administration around the country.  I propose to articulate the theory with its empirical subject through the concept of “sexual policies”, that understands the sex as a public battlefield in the state sphere. Aiming, with that, to comprehend the goals, patterns and practices of the military dictatorship and the way it rules over sexuality.

El propósito de este texto es presentar el debate sobre las prácticas reguladoras de la sexualidad en la dictadura brasileña que tenían como objetivo marginar a los gays, lesbianas, bisexuales y travestis. Con este fin, llevaré a cabo una encuesta bibliográfica de las discusiones recientes sobre el tema, abordando la fundamentación teórica de la “moral y buenas costumbres", sus implicaciones penales en la “Lei de Imprensa”, así como la represión policial por parte de las comisarías de policía y las autoridades locales. Por lo tanto, propongo articular la bibliografía y su trabajo empírico a través del concepto de políticas sexuales, que considera el sexo como un campo de batalla público en la esfera estatal, con el fin de comprender los objetivos, estándares, prácticas del régimen militar y su forma de gobernar la sexualidad.O presente artigo é um resultado parcial da minha pesquisa de mestrado, intitulada “O Estado quer apagar as luzes da esquina: Poder, resistência e criminalização da homossexualidade no processo acusatório do jornal Lampião da Esquina”. O objetivo deste texto é apresentar o debate acerca das práticas regulatórias da sexualidade na ditadura que visaram marginalizar gueis, lésbicas, bissexuais e travestis durante os anos de chumbo. Para tanto, realizarei um levantamento bibliográfico das discussões recentes sobre o tema, abordando a fundamentação da noção de “moral e bons costumes” por parte do regime, suas implicações penais na lei de imprensa, bem como a repressão policial por parte das delegacias e governos locais do país.
