Resumo: From a reading of Transcendental Analytics on Critique of Pure Reason and of the Kantian answer to the question “What Real Progress Has Metaphysics Made in Germany Since the Time of Leibniz and Wolff?”, I discuss a supposed inconsistency in the demand for a concept of thing in itself.
