From meaning to signification : a methodological path of data analysis in Argumentative Semantics

Resumo: This article aims to present a methodological path of enunciative and argumentative data analysis according to the method proposed by Argumentative Semantics − A.S. For this purpose, stemming from the evocation of nuclear notions and concepts of the Theory of Argumentation within Language, Polyphonic Theory of Enunciation, Semantic Block Theory, and Argumentative Theory of Polyphony, a distinction between tokens and types is performed. In the sequence, both the fundamental concepts of enunciative analysis, such as (a) speaker, (b) enunciator, and (c) discursive attitude, and the concepts intended for essentially argumentative analysis, such as (a) argumentative chaining (normative and transgressive), (b) argumentative aspect or scheme (normative and transgressive), and (c) semantic block. Finally, some of the developments that A.S. has currently obtained in France and Brazil are also mentioned, among which the possibility of articulating polyphony and argumentation and of explaining semantic-argumentative phenomena in artistic discourses.

Para tanto, a partir de la evocación de nociones y conceptos fundamentales de la Teoría de la Argumentación en la Lengua, de la Teoría Polifónica de la Enunciación, de la Teoría de los Bloques Semánticos y de la Teoría Argumentativa de la Polifonía, se distinguen, en primer lugar, entidades concretas (ing. token) de entidades lingüísticas abstractas (ing. type). Después, se presentan tanto los conceptos básicos del análisis enunciativo, como (a) locutor, (b) enunciador y (c) actitud discursiva, como conceptos destinados al análisis esencialmente argumentativo, como (a) encadenamiento argumentativo (normativo y transgresivo), (b) aspecto o esquema argumentativo (normativo y transgresivo) y (c) bloque semántico. Finalmente, también se mencionan algunos de los desarrollos que la S.A. ha recibido actualmente, en Francia y Brasil, entre los cuales la posibilidad de articular polifonía y argumentación y de explicar fenómenos semántico-argumentativos de los discursos artísticos.Este artigo objetiva apresentar um percurso metodológico de análise enunciativa e argumentativa de dados segundo o método proposto pela Semântica Argumentativa − S.A.. Para tanto, a partir da evocação de noções e conceitos nucleares da Teoria da Argumentação na Língua, da Teoria Polifônica da Enunciação, da Teoria dos Blocos Semânticos e da Teoria Argumentativa da Polifonia, distinguem-se, primeiramente, entidades concretas (ingl. token) de entidades linguísticas abstratas (ingl. type). Em seguida, apresentam-se tanto os conceitos basilares da análise enunciativa, como (a) locutor, (b) enunciador e (c) atitude discursiva, quanto conceitos destinados à análise essencialmente argumentativa, como (a) encadeamento argumentativo (normativo e transgressivo), (b) aspecto argumentativo ou esquema (normativo e transgressivo) e (c) bloco semântico.
