The use of digital technologies combined with tourism in geography classes of elementary school

Resumo: | It is currently impossible to dissociate education from new technologies. Young people are increasingly using these tools earlier, which have become part of their daily lives. The present work analyzed the experience developed with 9th-grade students and the use of new technologies combined with tourism in geography teaching. Lecture classes, online research, use of software, photographic montages and the socialization of results were used. The fascination of young people was noticed, verifying the importance of experiencing practical activities and the Creative Learning approach as a learning tool. Combining tourism and Geography with new technologies proved to be fundamental for the work, making the student start to think about the local reality in the global context. |

Os jovens estão usando essas ferramentas cada vez mais cedo, as quais se tornaram parte de seu cotidiano. O presente trabalho analisou a experiência desenvolvida com os alunos do 9º ano e o uso de novas tecnologias combinadas ao turismo no ensino de geografia. Foram utilizadas aulas expositivas, pesquisa online, uso de software, montagens fotográficas e socialização dos resultados. Percebeu-se o fascínio dos jovens, verificando a importância de vivenciar atividades práticas e a abordagem da Aprendizagem Criativa como ferramenta de aprendizagem.
