Resumo: This article has a purpose to understand the importance of perception and the meaning in formating of architecture spaces for seniors, like acquaintanceship centers and collective housing. Consequently, from then bibliographic searches, pursuit show the influence of the five senses in the development of the individual perception and take into the physical character of the spaces with incitement of incentive, change of biological rhythm and sensations like relaxing, attention, or awakening of the imagination, easing the stress, from the studies about the Neuroarchitecture and well-being. Lastly, owing to the possibilities of providing an experience for senior citizens healthier and active in a world that is in the process of population aging, it is possible to recognize essentiality of a project for this people, to achieve and identify sensations and proximity with the ambience.

Sendo assim, a partir de pesquisas bibliográficas, buscou-se apresentar a influência dos cinco sentidos no desenvolvimento da percepção individual e assimilar a relação das características físicas dos espaços com a incitação de estímulos, alterações de ritmos biológicos e sensações como relaxamento, atenção ou o despertar da imaginação, amenizando o estresse, a partir de estudos sobre a Neuroarquitetura e o bem-estar.
