Resumo: The present work succeeds in weaving a brief historical reconstruction of social security rights - especially social security, entering into the Brazilian constitutional consecration of these, which is essential to understand the reform movement faced by Brazil in recent years, materialized mainly by the Social Security Reform (EC n. 103/2019) and consolidated by Decree n. 10410/2020, ending with an analysis of this, in order to verify whether it represented an advance or setback.
