Percepção dos docentes frente ao ensino da prática em enfermagem diante à covid-19

Resumo: Objective: To understand the perspective of nursing professors at Unicesumar in order to identify the main difficulties related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodology: A descriptive-qualitative study was conducted using a question guide directed to nursing professors belonging to the internship field of an institution of Higher Education in Nursing. The Meet® platform was used for the interviews in August 2021, and the Bardin method was used for the analysis. The question guide inquired about the time of training and professional experience, feelings regarding professional preparation for patient care with COVID-19 and about the changes in the work process and in the internship field occasioned by the pandemic. Results: The research participants totaling 6 nursing professionals active in the internship fields, with an average period of performance of approximately 11 years, of which 5 of them feel prepared for nursing practice, 3 have the need to reinvent the teaching method and foresee loss in teaching or access to education, and 3 of the teachers have already had loss with activities due to the pandemic. Two thematic categories were identified: Professional preparation facing the Covid-19; Teachers Perceptions about the changes in the internship routine caused by the pandemic. Final Considerations: It is evident that even with years of experience and feeling able and prepared to deal with the situation, the teachers at the same time, do not interpret the difficulties as obstacles; and see the need to reinvent themselves or change the work approach.

Metodologia: Estudo descritivo-qualitativo, realizado por questões direcionadas aos docentes de enfermagem pertencentes ao campo de estágio de uma instituição de Ensino Superior de Enfermagem, utilizando a plataforma Meet® para as entrevistas, em agosto de 2021. Utilizado o método de Bardin pra análise dos dados. As questões abordavam sobre o tempo de formação e experiência profissional, sentimento quanto à preparação profissional para o cuidado ao paciente com COVID-19 e sobre as mudanças ocasionadas no processo de trabalho e no campo de estágio. Resultados: Seis profissionais, enfermeiros atuantes nos campos de estágio, com período médio de atuação de aproximadamente onze anos. Desses, cinco se sentiam preparados para a prática de enfermagem, três relataram a necessidade de reinventar o método de ensino e acreditam que houve perda no ensino ou acesso à educação durante a pandemia. Três desses descreveram que já tiveram prejuízo com atividades devido à pandemia. Foram identificadas duas categorias temáticas: Preparo profissional frente à Covid-19 e Percepções dos professores sobre as mudanças na rotina do estágio. Considerações Finais: Os docentes destacam que a pandemia gerou dificuldades para o ensino, como atividades canceladas, diminuição dos procedimentos e limitações.
