Resumo: This article proposes a contemporary definition of property, using its classification, even the collective property, and social, restriction and limit trilogy of the property. It is argued that the social function should be sent only to the state assets, while the private property should be included socially, because with the contrary, they suffer penalties from society or the state. Facing these operational concepts it is proposed a definition of property.

Se discute que la función social debe dirigirse sólo a los bienes del Estado, mientras que la propiedad particular debe de estar inserida socialmente, pues por el contrario, sufre sanciones de la sociedad o del Estado. Frente a estos conceptos operacionales es que se propone una definición de propiedad.O presente artigo propõe uma definição contemporânea de propriedade, utilizando-se de sua classificação, incluso a propriedade coletiva, e a trilogia inserção social, restrição e limite à propriedade. Discute-se que a função social deve ser dirigida somente aos bens do Estado, enquanto que a propriedade particular deve estar inserida socialmente, pois do contrario, sofre sanções da sociedade ou do Estado.
