Resumo: The human right to health is a constant concern, which goes back to the tenderest times of humanity. Health, in the perspective of contemporary society - and consumption, is a right for all and for all, referring to the idea of quality of life, which is the greatest good of every human being. Following this idea, this article aims to foster a reflection on the interference of the current consumer society, under the guise of Jean Baudrillard, in the effectiveness of public health, especially in relation to the existing risks and that hinder access to the human right to Cheers. In this context, it is verified, through a bibliographic study that follows the deductive method, the possibility of recognizing the individual as a consumer of public services, especially public health services, so necessary and urgent in guaranteeing and maintaining the very personal right to life.

La salud, en la perspectiva de la sociedad contemporánea - y de consumo, es un derecho de todos y para todos, remitiéndose a la idea de calidad de vida, siendo ésta el bien mayor de todo ser humano. Siguiendo este ideario, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo fomentar una reflexión sobre la interferencia de la actual sociedad de consumo, bajo la mirada de Jean Baudrillard, en la efectividad de la salud pública, sobre todo en relación a los riesgos existentes y que dificultan el acceso al derecho humano a la salud. En este contexto, se verifica, a través de un estudio bibliográfico que sigue el método deductivo, la posibilidad de reconocimiento del individuo como consumidor de los servicios públicos, especialmente de los servicios de salud pública, tan necesarios y urgentes en la garantía y mantenimiento del derecho personalísimo a la vida.O direito humano à saúde é uma preocupação constante, que remonta aos mais tenros tempos da humanidade. A saúde, na perspectiva da sociedade contemporânea – e de consumo, é um direito de todos e para todos, remetendo-se à ideia de qualidade de vida, sendo esta o bem maior de todo o ser humano. Seguindo este ideário, o presente artigo tem como objetivo fomentar uma reflexão sobre a interferência da atual sociedade de consumo, sob o olhar de Jean Baudrillard, na efetivação da saúde pública, sobretudo em relação aos riscos existentes e que dificultam o acesso ao direito humano à saúde.
