Resumo: The family as a social institution has undergone many changes over the centuries. Of today, without biology of family relationships, kinship is more predominant factor for the characterization of the child, but the affection, hence the emerging socio-affective affiliation. Replaced by the concept of socio-affective affiliation, with the distinction between its entirety ended with its proceedings to the constitution. The socio-affective affiliation has great social relevance, because it is possible, by evidence of links from affinity and love, be given to an individual all the rights arising from membership.
