RELAÇÕES HÍDRICAS E FISIOLÓGICAS EM PLANTAS DE PIMENTÃO AO LONGO DE UM DIA

O experimento foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de avaliar o comportamento fisiológico de plantas de pimentão ao longo de um dia e verificar o melhor horário para a realização de determinações fisiológicas em plantas onde se deseja comparar o efeito do manejo diferenciado da disponibilidade hídrica. Avaliaram-se as características: resistência à difusão do vapor de água na folha (Rd), condutância estomática (Ce), transpiração, teor relativo de água na folha (TRA) e potencial de água na folha (Yf) das plantas de pimentão, além de temperatura e radiação solar fotossinteticamente ativa (PAR). Os resultados demonstraram que as plantas de pimentão apresentam alterações no mecanismo fisiológico em função das condições hidro-climáticas ocorrentes ao longo do dia. O horário entre 12h e 14h é o mais indicado para a realização de determinações fisiológicas em plantas onde se deseja comparar o efeito do manejo diferenciado da disponibilidade hídrica, devido ser intervalo onde as variações destas características são mínimas.ABSTRACT The experiment was developed with the objective of evaluating the physiological characteristics of pepper plants during one day long and to verify the Best time to make the physiological determinations in plants when it is necessary to compare the effects of the differentiated handling of hydric availability. It was evaluated the following characteristics: the resistance to the diffusion of the water vapor on the leaf (Rd), stomatical conduction (Ce), transpiration, relative water content in the leaf (Rwc), water leaf potential (Yf), temperature and solar radiation photosynthetically active (PAR). It was concluded that the pepper plants suffered alterations in their physiological mechanism because of the hydrologic and the climatic variations during the day. The time from 12 h to 14 h is the most indicated to make physiological determinations in plants when it is necessary to compare the effects of the differentiated handling of hydric availability, because it is the interval when the variations of these characteristics are minimal.
