Creativity and school management: The perspective of elementary education directors in the context of continuing education

Resumo: | The objective of this study was to analyze creativity in the context of school management from the perspective of directors in primary education within the context of ongoing professional development. Eight directors from private primary education schools in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul participated in the study. Data collection involved two interviews. Bardin's content analysis proposal was chosen for the interview analysis, and the WebQDA software was employed for the systematization of categories. The results indicated that the participants valued creativity in school management, emphasizing ideas and educational planning, particularly in relation to new solutions. Furthermore, they stated that the GNAE course facilitated the exchange of ideas and expanded their view of innovation and creativity, contributing to creative school management. Therefore, the relevance of this study lies in the contemporary need for creative school directors capable of exercising creative school management. |

Participaron en el estudio 8 directores de escuelas privadas de educación básica en el Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul. Para la recopilación de datos, se llevaron a cabo dos entrevistas. Se optó por la propuesta de Bardin en el análisis de contenido de las entrevistas y por el software WebQDA en la sistematización de las categorías. Los resultados indicaron que los participantes valoraron la creatividad en la gestión escolar, enfocándose en las ideas y la planificación escolar, especialmente en relación con nuevas soluciones. Además, afirmaron que el curso GNAE facilitó el intercambio de ideas y la ampliación de la visión sobre innovación y creatividad, además de contribuir a la gestión escolar creativa. Por lo tanto, se cree en la pertinencia de este estudio, ya que la contemporaneidad requiere directores de escuelas creativos y capacitados para ejercer una gestión escolar creativa.O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a criatividade no âmbito da gestão escolar a partir do olhar de diretores da educação básica em contexto de formação continuada. Participaram do estudo 8 diretores de escolas privadas de educação básica no Estado do Mato Grosso do Sul. Para a coleta de dados, utilizaram-se de duas entrevistas. Optou-se pela proposta de Bardin na análise de conteúdo das entrevistas e pelo software WebQDA na sistematização das categorias. Os resultados indicaram que os participantes valorizaram a criatividade na gestão escolar com ênfase nas ideias e planejamento escolar, principalmente em relação a novas soluções. Ainda, afirmaram que o curso GNAE proporcionou a troca de ideias e ampliação sobre a visão de inovação e criatividade, além de contribuir para a gestão escolar criativa.
