Resumo: | Lipids play a fundamental role in humans, being a macronutrient transported by lipoproteins within the body. The appearance of non-communicable chronic diseases is increasing every day, being one of the main causes of morbidity, disability and mortality in Western societies. For a long time this macronutrient has been associated with the development and progression of such diseases. The objective of this work is to search for a compilation of the literature on the benefits of the individual components of dairy fats for human health. It can be concluded from the works reported that there is an increasing consensus that dairy fats are of great complexity with regard to their composition, having high nutritional value and bioactivity, which can also help in weight loss and prevention of a series of diseases such as cancers, metabolic syndrome, antidiabetic properties, modulation of the intestinal microbiota, hypertension, obesity, prevention of allergies and asthma, among others. |

La aparición de enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles aumenta día a día, siendo una de las principales causas de morbilidad, discapacidad y mortalidad en las sociedades occidentales. Durante mucho tiempo, este macronutriente se ha asociado con el desarrollo y la progresión de tales enfermedades. El objetivo de este trabajo es buscar una recopilación de la literatura sobre los beneficios de los componentes individuales de las grasas lácteas para la salud humana. Se puede concluir de los trabajos reportados en el presente trabajo que existe un creciente consenso de que las grasas lácteas son de gran complejidad en cuanto a su composición, teniendo alto valor nutricional y bioactividad, lo que también puede ayudar en la pérdida de peso y prevención de una serie. de enfermedades como cánceres, síndrome metabólico, propiedades antidiabéticas, modulación de la microbiota intestinal, hipertensión, obesidad, prevención de alergias y asma, entre otras.Os lipídeos exercem um papel fundamental para o ser humano, sendo um macronutriente transportado por lipoproteínas dentro do organismo. A cada dia mais cresce o aparecimento das doenças crônicas não transmissíveis, sendo uma das principais causas de morbidade, incapacidade e mortalidade nas sociedades ocidentais. Durante muito tempo este macronutriente foi associado ao desenvolvimento e progressão de tais doenças. O objetivo deste trabalho é buscar um copilado da literatura sobre os benefícios dos componentes individuais das gorduras lácteas para a saúde humana.
