Nursing actions that promove the security of the patient in the hospitalar scope

Resumo: The objective of the study was to identify which strategies are implemented by nurses in the hospital area to ensure patient safety. It is an integrative literature review that sought to analyze the work of nursing in promoting patient safety in the hospital environment. For the study, articles published in the years 2015 to 2020 were used, collected in the LILACS, SCIELO and BDENF databases. After searching the proposed databases and meeting the descriptors and criteria pre-established by the authors, 25 articles were selected. The actions with the highest frequency were: permanent education (17.2%), communication (14.7%), team planning (12.2%), use of protocols for assistance (9.8%). The findings showed multiple actions performed by the nursing professional that promote patient safety, in addition to highlighting how much the care provided by this professional can reduce the risk of unnecessary damage during the care provided in health services.

Se trata de una revisión integradora de la literatura que busca analizar el trabajo de la enfermería en la promoción de la seguridad del paciente en el ámbito hospitalario. Para el estudio se utilizaron artículos publicados en el período de 2015 a 2020, recogidos en las bases de datos LILACS, SCIELO y BDENF. Después de buscar en las bases de datos propuestas y cumplir con los descriptores y criterios preestablecidos por los autores fueron seleccionados 25 artículos. Las acciones con mayor frecuencia son: educación permanente (17,2%), comunicación (14,7%), planificación de equipos (12,2%), uso de protocolos de asistencia (9,8%). Los resultados evidenciaron múltiples acciones realizadas por el profesional de enfermería que promueven la seguridad del paciente, además de destacar que el cuidado proporcionado por ese profesional puede reducir el riesgo de daños innecesarios durante la atención brindada en los servicios de salud.O objetivo do estudo foi identificar quais estratégias são implementadas pelos enfermeiros na área hospitalar para garantir a segurança do paciente. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura que buscou analisar o trabalho da enfermagem na promoção da segurança do paciente no âmbito hospitalar. Para o estudo, utilizou-se artigos publicados nos anos de 2015 a 2020, coletados nas bases de dados LILACS, SCIELO e BDENF. Após a busca nas bases de dados propostas e atendendo aos descritores e critérios pré-estabelecidos pelas autoras foram selecionados 25 artigos. As ações que apresentaram maiores frequências foram: educação permanente (17,2%), comunicação (14,7%), planejamento de equipe (12,2%), uso de protocolos para assistência (9,8%).
