Resumo: Human Rights are those indispensable and inviolable that must be guaranteed to all individuals, such as the right to life, nutrition, education, freedom, among many others. Human Security, on the other hand, is the search for freedom from fears and needs, where the human being, and not the State, is at the center of the security debate. When one observes education in relation to Human Security and Human Rights, the humanitarian role of education is evident, given its formative role. With this work, we seek to understand how these concepts are related. In order to do so, a qualitative review of the literature was carried out, selecting works through exploratory reading in search of the useful essence related to the subjects. It can be concluded that education is a central part in the pursuit of Human Security and Human Rights. It is the process of development of individuals throughout their lives, therefore, the environment also transforms people through experiences and examples, perspectives and stimuli – both negative and positive. It is necessary to use a quality educational process to form citizens who are aware of their rights and also of their duties, knowing how to mobilize them. It is observed that all these concepts are directly and inextricably related to the development of individuals, because it is only through the training of critical people, attentive to reality and sensitive to Human Security issues, that it will be possible to achieve a social state where Human Rights are really guaranteed to everyone.

La Seguridad Humana, por su parte, es la búsqueda de la liberación de miedos y necesidades, donde el ser humano, y no el Estado, está en el centro del debate de seguridad. Cuando se observa la educación en relación con la Seguridad Humana y los Derechos Humanos, se evidencia el rol humanitario de la educación, dado su rol formativo. Con este trabajo, buscamos comprender cómo se relacionan estos conceptos. Para ello, se realizó una revisión cualitativa de la literatura, seleccionando obras a través de la lectura exploratoria en busca de la esencia útil relacionada con los temas. Se puede concluir que la educación es parte central en la búsqueda de la Seguridad Humana y los Derechos Humanos. Es el proceso de desarrollo de los individuos a lo largo de su vida, por lo tanto, el entorno también transforma a las personas a través de experiencias y ejemplos, perspectivas y estímulos, tanto negativos como positivos. Es necesario utilizar un proceso educativo de calidad para formar ciudadanos conscientes de sus derechos y también de sus deberes, sabiendo movilizarlos. Se observa que todos estos conceptos están directa e indisolublemente relacionados con el desarrollo de las personas, pues sólo a través de la formación de personas críticas, atentas a la realidad y sensibles a los temas de Seguridad Humana, será posible alcanzar un estado social donde Los derechos humanos están realmente garantizados para todos.Os Direitos Humanos são aqueles indispensáveis e invioláveis que devem ser garantidos a todos os indivíduos, como o direito à vida, à nutrição, à educação, à liberdade, entre vários outros. Já a Segurança Humana é a busca pela liberdade dos medos e das necessidades, onde coloca-se o ser humano, e não o Estado, no centro do debate sobre a segurança. Quando se observa a educação frente à Segurança Humana e aos Direitos Humanos, fica evidente o papel humanitário da educação dado o seu papel formativo. Com este trabalho, busca-se compreender como estes conceitos se relacionam. Para tanto foi realizada uma revisão qualitativa da literatura, selecionando trabalhos por meio de leitura exploratória em busca da essência útil relacionada aos assuntos. Pode-se concluir que a educação é peça central na busca da Segurança Humana e dos Direitos Humanos. Ela é o processo de desenvolvimento dos indivíduos durante toda a sua vida, portanto, o meio também transforma as pessoas através de vivências e de exemplos, perspectivas e estímulos – tanto negativos, quanto positivos. É necessário o uso de um processo educacional de qualidade para formar cidadãos que estejam cientes de seus direitos e também de seus deveres, sabendo mobilizá-los.
