Resumo: The present article is part of a doctoral research under development in Graduate Program in Education in Science and Mathematics at the Federal University of Pará. One of the themes addressed is the teaching of Physics through the clay pans manufacturing process linking traditional with academic knowledge. The research has as empirical locus the traditional community Vila Que Era, located on the banks of the Caeté River in the rural area of the municipality of Bragança, state of Pará, Brazil. Among the objectives of the research, we intent to register the empirical knowledge of ceramic artisans on the production of ceramics and their main techniques. The chosen methodological procedure privileges ethnographic techniques, in order to facilitate the understanding of the relationship between Physics and the production of ceramics, especially pans, in the chosen community, seeking to establish ties that assist in the process of construction of the observed ethnophysical knowledge.

Uno de los temas abordados es la enseñanza de la Física a través del proceso de fabricación de ollas de barro relacionando el conocimiento tradicional con el conocimiento académico. La investigación tiene como lugar empírico la comunidad tradicional Vila Que Era, ubicada a las márgenes del río Caeté, en la zona rural del municipio de Bragança, estado de Pará, Brasil. Entre los objetivos, destacamos la intención de registrar el conocimiento empírico de los artesanos de la cerámica en la producción de cerámica y sus principales técnicas. El procedimiento metodológico elegido privilegia las técnicas etnográficas para facilitar la comprensión de la relación entre la Física y la producción de cerámica, especialmente ollas, en la comunidad elegida, buscando establecer vínculos que ayuden en el proceso de construcción del conocimiento etnofísico observado.O presente artigo faz parte de uma pesquisa de doutoramento em desenvolvimento no Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação em Ciências e Matemáticas da Universidade Federal do Pará. Uma das temáticas abordadas é o ensino da Física por meio do processo de fabricação de panelas de barro relacionando o saber tradicional ao conhecimento acadêmico. A pesquisa tem como lócus empírico a comunidade tradicional Vila Que Era, localizada às margens do rio Caeté, no espaço rural do município de Bragança, estado do Pará, Brasil. Entre os objetivos da pesquisa, pretendemos registrar os conhecimentos empíricos dos artesãos ceramistas sobre sua produção e principais técnicas.
