Resumo: The objective of this work was to evaluate the Arroio Fundo basin, located on the left bank of the São Francisco Verdadeiro River, in the municipalities of Quatro Pontes, Marechal Cândido Rondon and Pato Bragado, in the extreme west of Paraná, a region that is one of the largest producers of water. farmed fish in the country. The morphometric characterization of the Microbasin was carried out, as well as the location, mapping and quantification of the excavated ponds using geotechnologies. The microbasin has an area of 221.7 km², has an elongated profile and low risk of flooding, and 1,038 excavated ponds were mapped, most of them small, totaling an area of 226 hectares of ponds. The largest agglomerations of excavated ponds are located in the region below the microbasin, close to its mouth. Georeferencing tools were efficient for locating, mapping and quantifying areas and agglomerations of fish farming units, and can be important for use in environmental analysis and in the fish farming production chain, by public and private managers.

Se realizó la caracterización morfométrica de la Microcuenca, así como la ubicación, mapeo y cuantificación de las pozas excavadas mediante geotecnologías. La microcuenca tiene una superficie de 221,7 km², tiene un perfil alargado y bajo riesgo de inundación, y se mapearon 1.038 pozas excavadas, la mayoría de pequeño tamaño, totalizando una superficie de 226 hectáreas de pozas. Las mayores aglomeraciones de estanques excavados se ubican en la región debajo de la microcuenca, cerca de su desembocadura. Las herramientas de georreferenciación resultaron eficientes para ubicar, mapear y cuantificar áreas y aglomeraciones de unidades piscícolas, y pueden ser importantes para su uso en análisis ambientales y en la cadena productiva piscícola, por parte de gestores públicos y privados.O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar a microbacia hidrográfica do Arroio Fundo, localizada na margem esquerda do rio São Francisco Verdadeiro, nos municípios de Quatro Pontes, Marechal Cândido Rondon e Pato Bragado, no extremo Oeste do Paraná, região que é uma das maiores produtoras de pescado cultivado do país. Foi realizada a caracterização morfométrica da Microbacia, a localização, mapeamento e quantificação dos viveiros escavados utilizando geotecnologias. A microbacia apresenta área de 221,7 km², tem perfil alongado e baixo risco de enchentes, e foram mapeados 1.038 viveiros escavados, na sua grande maioria de pequeno porte, totalizando uma área de 226 hectares de viveiros. As maiores aglomerações de viveiros escavados estão situadas na região abaixo da microbacia, próximos a sua foz.
