Mobile apps in healthcare: an integrative review

Resumo: | Objective: describe existing smartphone applications within the health area, discussing their contributions to the health sector and quality of life. Method: descriptive study conducted through an integrative review in lilacs, medline, collect SUS, bdenf - nursing and SciELO databases. The inclusion criteria adopted were the complete articles published in Portuguese; addressing the theme of the use of mobile applications in the area of health, within the period 2017 to 2022. Results: 38 works participated in this review, being 29 articles, 8 dissertations and a thesis, thus evidencing the use of technologies in various themes related to health processes. Conclusion: Mobile apps have significant health care benefits for patients, their families, and health professionals. It is possible to recognize the good acceptance of customers in relation to technological innovations as an aid in the processes of prevention, promotion, assistance and health monitoring. |

Método: estudio descriptivo realizado a través de revisión integradora en las bases de datos electrónicas Lilacs, Medline, Coleciona SUS, Bdenf – enfermería y SciELO. Los criterios de inclusión adoptados fueron artículos publicados en portugués; abordando el tema del uso de aplicaciones móviles en el área de la salud, de 2017 a 2022. Resultados: Participaron de esta revisión 38 trabajos, 29 artículos, 8 disertaciones y 1 tesis, evidenciando así el uso de las tecnologías en diversas temáticas relacionadas con los procesos de salud. Conclusión: las aplicaciones móviles tienen importantes beneficios para el cuidado de la salud de los pacientes, sus familias y los profesionales de la salud. Es posible reconocer la buena aceptación de los clientes en relación a las innovaciones tecnológicas como ayuda en los procesos de prevención, promoción, asistencia y vigilancia de la salud.Objetivo: descrever os aplicativos para smartphone existentes dentro da área da saúde, discutindo sobre suas contribuições para o setor saúde e qualidade de vida. Método: estudo descritivo realizado por meio de revisão integrativa nas bases eletrônicas Lilacs, Medline, Coleciona SUS, BDenf – enfermagem e SciELO. Os critérios inclusão adotados foram os artigos publicados em português; abordando a temática do uso de aplicativos para celular na área da saúde, dentro do período de 2017 a 2022. Resultados: participaram dessa revisão 38 obras, sendo 29 artigos, 8 dissertações e 1 tese, evidenciando assim, o uso de tecnologias em variadas temáticas relacionadas aos processos em saúde. Conclusão: os aplicativos móveis apresentam benefícios significativos em relação a assistência em saúde para os pacientes, seus familiares e os profissionais da saúde.
