Design Thinking and Computational Thinking and their articulations for the Educational Robotics teaching: a review

Resumo: | This paper examines the growing field of using design thinking and computational thinking for teaching educational robotics through a mapping based in the systematic literature review steps. This mapping gathers evidence of how the robotics teaching has become a useful tool for the development of cognitive abilities, and such as computational thinking, being further enhanced by the use of design thinking. In this sense, it was sought in the literature to know how these approaches are being evaluated, at what levels of education are being carried out in this area of studies, if there is a curriculum formulated for this purpose, and what results have already been achieved. The consequences, study point to an increasing use of educational robotics for the development of computational thinking, being carried out at all levels of education in Basic Education. There isn´t fully defined curriculum and nor a standard to be followed, but there are contributions implicit design thinking in the activities reported for the development of computational thinking. |

Este mapeo buscó recopilar evidencia de cómo la enseñanza de la robótica se convirtió en una herramienta útil para el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas y cómo el pensamiento computacional, siendo mejorado aún más por el uso del pensamiento de diseño. En este sentido, se buscó en la literatura conocer cómo se están evaluando estos enfoques, en qué niveles de educación se están llevando a cabo en esta área de estudios, si existe un currículo formulado para tal fin, y qué resultados ya se han logrado. Las consecuencias, estudio apuntan a un uso creciente de la robótica educativa para el desarrollo del pensamiento computacional, que se está llevando a cabo en todos los niveles de la educación en Educación Básica. No existe un plan de estudios completamente definido ni un estándar a seguir, pero hay aportes pensamiento de diseño implícito en las actividades reportadas para el desarrollo del pensamiento computacional.Este artigo examina o campo crescente da utilização do design thinking e do pensamento computacional para o ensino de robótica educacional por meio de um mapeamento baseado nas etapas de uma revisão sistemática da literatura. Este mapeamento buscou reunir evidências de como o ensino de robótica tornou-se uma ferramenta útil para o desenvolvimento de habilidades cognitivas como o pensamento computacional, sendo ainda potencializado pelo uso do design thinking. Nesse sentido, buscou-se na literatura conhecer como essas abordagens estão sendo realizadas, em quais níveis de escolaridades estão sendo efetuados os estudos na área, se há um currículo específico para esse fim, e quais resultados já foram alcançados. As conclusões deste estudo apontam para um uso cada vez maior da robótica educacional para o desenvolvimento do pensamento computacional, sendo realizada em todos os níveis de escolaridade do Ensino Básico.
