Resumo: The Special Educational Service (SES) is the object of study of many researchers, whose purpose is to investigate how interventions occur with the target audience of Special Education students. This study aimed to know the professionals profiles that is responsible for SES in the Multifunctional Resource Room (MRR) of schools in two poles of the Municipal Education Network in Niterói, a municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Analysis and data collection was carried out using the quantitative-qualitative mixed method. Data collection to outline the professional's profile was carried out through a questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The results of the interviews allowed a concrete view of the current scenario of MRR teachers of the schools surveyed, as well as the knowledge of the practices, interventions, resources and materials of Assistive Technology applied to Specialized Educational Service (SES), considered as essential for the teaching-learning process in inclusive education.

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo conocer el perfil de los profesionales responsables de AEE en las Salas de Recursos Multifuncionales (SRM) de las escuelas en dos polos de la Red Municipal de Educación en Niterói, municipio del estado de Río de Janeiro. La recolección y análisis de datos se realizó mediante el método mixto cuantitativo-cualitativo. La recolección de datos para perfilar el perfil del profesional se realizó a través de cuestionario y entrevista semiestructurada. Los resultados de las entrevistas permitieron una visión concreta del escenario actual de los docentes de los SRM de las escuelas encuestadas, así como el conocimiento de las prácticas, intervenciones, recursos y materiales de Tecnología Asistiva aplicada en el Servicio Educativo Especializado (AEE) esencial para el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la educación inclusiva.O Atendimento Educacional Especial (AEE) é objeto de estudo de muitos pesquisadores, cujo propósito é investigar como ocorrem as intervenções junto aos alunos público-alvo da Educação Especial. Este trabalho teve como objetivo conhecer o perfil dos profissionais responsáveis pelo AEE nas Salas de Recursos Multifuncionais (SRMs) de escolas de dois polos da Rede Municipal de Educação de Niterói, município do estado do Rio de Janeiro. O levantamento e a análise dos dados, deu-se por meio do método misto quanti-qualitativo. A coleta de dados para traçar o perfil do profissional foi feita por meio de questionário e entrevista semiestruturada.
