Resumo: | The object of study is the perception of the nursing staff in relation to therapeutic play as pain relief and reduction of drugs in the pediatric ward. The guiding question was based on the following question: What is the importance of therapeutic play in nursing care for children admitted to a pediatric ward? The general objective was to demonstrate the importance of differentiated nursing care in the pediatric ward sector using the therapeutic toy. The specific objectives were: to describe the difficulties that children face during hospitalization and to list the techniques that facilitate the children's adaptation during the hospitalization process. This course completion work consists of a literature review. The literature search was performed in the following databases: Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE); Nursing Database (BDENF); and Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS), through the Virtual Health Library (VHL). It is concluded, in this research, that the therapeutic toy is an essential tool in nursing care in the pediatric ward. In this context, regarding the lactating phase, the use of exercise games was the most suitable for this age group. |

La pregunta orientadora se basó en la siguiente pregunta: ¿Cuál es la importancia del juego terapéutico en la atención de enfermería para los niños ingresados en una sala de pediatría? El objetivo general fue demostrar la importancia de la atención de enfermería diferenciada en el sector de la sala de pediatría utilizando el juguete terapéutico. Los objetivos específicos fueron: describir las dificultades que enfrentan los niños durante la hospitalización y enumerar las técnicas que facilitan la adaptación de los niños durante el proceso de hospitalización. Este trabajo de finalización del curso consiste en una revisión de la literatura. La búsqueda bibliográfica se realizó en las siguientes bases de datos: Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE); Base de datos de enfermería (BDENF); y Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud (LILACS), a través de la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud (BVS). Se concluye, en esta investigación, que el juguete terapéutico es una herramienta fundamental en el cuidado de enfermería en la sala de pediatría. En este contexto, en cuanto a la fase de lactancia, el uso de juegos de ejercicios fue el más adecuado para este grupo de edad.O objeto de estudo é a percepção da equipe de enfermagem em relação ao brinquedo terapêutico como alívio da dor e diminuição dos fármacos em enfermaria pediátrica. A questão norteadora foi baseada na seguinte pergunta: Qual é a importância do brinquedo terapêutico na assistência de enfermagem à criança internada em uma enfermaria pediátrica? O objetivo geral foi demonstrar a importância da assistência de enfermagem diferenciada no setor de enfermaria pediatria utilizando o brinquedo terapêutico. Os objetivos específicos foram: descrever as dificuldades que as crianças enfrentam durante a hospitalização e enumerar as técnicas que facilitam a adaptação das crianças durante o processo de internação. Este trabalho de conclusão de curso consiste em uma revisão bibliográfica. A busca na literatura foi realizada nas bases de dados: Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE); Base de Dados da Enfermagem (BDENF); e Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), por meio da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS). Conclui-se, nesta pesquisa, que o brinquedo terapêutico é uma ferramenta essencial na assistência de enfermagem na enfermaria pediátrica.
