Resumo: | Environmental education is an important ally in the search for balance in the relationship between man and environment, in view of the growing environmental problems faced by humanity. For this, it is important to know the perception that individuals have of the environmental conditions of the environment where they are inserted. Based on this, the present study aimed to analyze the environmental perception presented by students of Professional and Technological Education of the integrated high school of the Federal Institute of Amazonas - Campus Lábrea. A questionnaire containing 9 multiple-choice questions was applied to students of Integrated High School of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of Technical Courses in Agriculture, Computer Science and Administration, totaling 93 students. The results of the research showed that the environmental perception shown by the investigated students reflects the personal experiences of each one, because their responses bring up acts and situations experienced in their city. It was possible to verify that students recognize the importance of the environment in their daily lives and see the fundamental role of the school in relation to environmental education actions. However, it is still important to develop effective environmental education practices, so that they can expand their sustainability concepts, seeking to improve environmental awareness, taking into account society's responsibility for environmental conservation and preservation in pursuit of sustainable development. |

Para ello, es importante conocer la percepción que tienen los individuos de las condiciones ambientales del entorno donde se insertan. Con base en esto, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la percepción ambiental que presentan los estudiantes de Educación Profesional y Tecnológica del Bachillerato Integrado del Instituto Federal del Amazonas - Campus Lábrea. Se aplicó un cuestionario de 9 preguntas de opción múltiple a estudiantes de Bachillerato Integrado de 1º, 2º y 3º año de los Cursos Técnicos en Agricultura, Informática y Administración, totalizando 93 alumnos. Los resultados de la investigación mostraron que la percepción ambiental que muestran los estudiantes investigados refleja las vivencias personales de cada uno, ya que sus respuestas hacen surgir hechos y situaciones vividas en su ciudad. Se pudo constatar que los estudiantes reconocen la importancia del medio ambiente en su vida diaria y ven el papel fundamental de la escuela en relación a las acciones de educación ambiental. Sin embargo, sigue siendo importante desarrollar prácticas efectivas de educación ambiental, para que puedan expandir sus conceptos de sustentabilidad, buscando mejorar la conciencia ambiental, tomando en cuenta la responsabilidad de la sociedad por la conservación y preservación ambiental en pos del desarrollo sustentable.A educação ambiental é uma importante aliada na busca do equilíbrio na relação homem e ambiente, em face do crescimento dos problemas ambientais enfrentados pela humanidade. Para isso, é importante conhecer a percepção que os indivíduos possuem das condições ambientais do meio onde ele está inserido. Com base nisso, o presente estudo teve por objetivo analisar a percepção ambiental apresentada por alunos da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica do nível médio integrado do Instituto Federal do Amazonas - Campus Lábrea. Foi aplicado um questionário contendo 9 questões de múltipla escolha, aos alunos do Ensino Médio Integrado do 1º, 2º e 3º ano dos Cursos Técnicos em Agropecuária, Informática e em Administração, totalizando 93 discentes. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstraram que a percepção ambiental evidenciada pelos alunos investigados reflete as experiências pessoais de cada um, pois suas respostas trazem à tona atos e situações vivenciadas em sua cidade. Foi possível verificar que os alunos reconhecem a importância do meio ambiente em seu cotidiano e veem o papel fundamental da escola em relação as ações de educação ambiental.
