Practice as a curricular component in the mathematics degree: an exploratory teaching-learning experience

Resumo: | This article aims to contribute to the discussion about the practice as a curricular component, in the formation of future mathematics teachers, through exploratory activities developed in the discipline of Teaching Practice in Mathematics, in the Mathematics Degree. To show respect and appreciation for the informal mathematical concepts constructed by different social groups, the activities were developed involving a game, of indigenous origin. This study is qualitative, with the Design Based Research methodology. Based on the assumption that mathematics is a social production, generated by practical needs, it is expected that this area of knowledge can assist in the attempt to change the educator's posture while being responsible for providing meaningful learning for his future students. Furthermore, it is believed that the reflections produced in this text may contribute to the formation of future mathematics teachers, especially with regard to the forms of mathematical knowledge that differ from group to group, favoring the construction and reconstruction of knowledge, maintenance, substitution and modification of the ways of organizing knowledge, forming an evolutionary trajectory of the inquiring subject. |

Con el fin de mostrar respeto y aprecio por los conceptos matemáticos informales construidos por diferentes grupos sociales, las actividades se desarrollaron involucrando un juego, de origen indígena. Este estudio es cualitativo, con la metodología Design Based Research. Partiendo del supuesto de que la matemática es una producción social, generada por necesidades prácticas, se espera que esta área de conocimiento pueda ayudar en el intento de cambiar la postura del educador siendo responsable de brindar un aprendizaje significativo a sus futuros alumnos. Además, se cree que las reflexiones producidas en este texto pueden contribuir a la formación de los futuros profesores de matemáticas, especialmente en lo que respecta a las formas de conocimiento matemático que difieren de un grupo a otro, favoreciendo la construcción y reconstrucción del conocimiento, mantenimiento, sustitución y modificación de las formas de organización del conocimiento, conformando una trayectoria evolutiva del sujeto indagador.Este artigo tem como objetivo contribuir para a discussão sobre a prática como componente curricular, na formação de futuros professores de matemática, por meio de atividades exploratórias desenvolvidas na disciplina de Prática de Ensino em Matemática, na Licenciatura em Matemática. Com o intuito de evidenciar o respeito e a valorização dos conceitos matemáticos informais construídos por diferentes grupos sociais, as atividades foram elaboradas envolvendo um jogo, de origem indígena. Este estudo é qualitativo, com a metodologia de Investigação Baseada em Design. Partindo do pressuposto que a matemática é uma produção social, gerada por necessidades práticas, espera-se que essa área de conhecimento possa auxiliar na tentativa de mudança de postura do educador enquanto responsável em propiciar uma aprendizagem significativa para seus futuros alunos.
