Reasons that take the user to urgent and emergency services in Lages-SC

Resumo: Objective: to characterize the demand of users in urgent and emergency services in the city of Lages-SC. Methodology: A study of an applied nature, descriptive as to the objectives, quantitative quantification of the problem and transversal approach was carried out, without a period from September to October 2019, in an Emergency Department of Lages-SC. Questionnaire applied to users, addressing data on profile, responses, risk classification and reasons for choosing the service. Analysis performed using Microsoft Excel 2013. Results: survey of 80 patients, with prevalence of females and adult age group (35 years to 59 years). The main questions addressed about the respiratory system and the main reason for choosing the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) were identified as related to the urgency and emergency situation. 75% of the patients were classified as green by the nursing team, in disagreement with the reason for choosing the service. With this, it is evident the need for policies to raise public awareness about the levels of care, seeking to redirect and redistribute the flow to primary care.

Metodología: Se realizó un estudio de naturaleza aplicada, descriptivo de los objetivos, cuantificación cuantitativa del problema y enfoque transversal, sin un período de septiembre a octubre de 2019, en un Departamento de Emergencias de Lages-SC. Cuestionario aplicado a los usuarios, abordando datos sobre perfil, respuestas, clasificación de riesgos y razones para elegir el servicio. Análisis realizado con Microsoft Excel 2013. Resultados: encuesta a 80 pacientes, con prevalencia de mujeres y grupo de edad adulto (35 años a 59 años). Las principales preguntas abordadas sobre el sistema respiratorio y la razón principal para elegir la Unidad de Atención de Emergencia (UPA) se identificaron como relacionadas con la situación de urgencia y emergencia. El 75% de los pacientes fueron clasificados como verdes por el equipo de enfermería, en desacuerdo con la razón para elegir el servicio. Con esto, es evidente la necesidad de políticas para aumentar la conciencia pública sobre los niveles de atención, buscando redirigir y redistribuir el flujo a la atención primaria.Objetivo: caracterizar a demanda dos usuários nos serviços de urgência e emergência do município de Lages-SC. Metodologia: Realizado estudo de natureza aplicada, descritiva quanto aos objetivos, quantitativo quanto à abordagem do problema e transversal, no período de setembro e outubro de 2019, em uma Unidade de Pronto Atendimento do município de Lages-SC. Aplicado questionário aos usuários, abordando dados sobre perfil, queixas, classificação de risco e motivos da escolha do serviço. Análise realizada através do Microsoft Excel 2013. Resultados: participaram da pesquisa 80 pacientes, com prevalência do sexo feminino e faixa etária adulta (35 anos até 59 anos). As principais queixas abordavam o sistema respiratório e o principal motivo da escolha da Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) identificado foi o relato de situação de urgência e emergência. Sendo que 75% dos pacientes foram classificados como verde pela equipe de enfermagem, em desacordo com o motivo da escolha do serviço.
