The concept of Scientific Literacy and the possibility of interactions between five general skills of the National Curricular Common Base - BNCC

Resumo: This work aims to reflect about Scientific Literacy (AC), investigating possible interactions of this theme between five general skills of the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC) in the scope of Basic Education. The qualitative methodology, through bibliographic research, allowed the authors to reflect on the theme, making a relation with the ideas of theorists that deal with Scientific Literacy. The AC is understood as a process that takes place inside and outside the school, implying the generation of dialogues and shortening the distance between the subjects' experiential culture and scientific knowledge. The AC is also capable of promoting the necessary conditions to carry out critical readings and interpretations of reality, being an invitation to participate in the community debate, providing people with the aptitude for conscious and responsible decision-making, which can bring interventions to the space where the subject if inserted. The discussion points out the competences: Knowledge; Scientific, Critical and Creative Thinking; Argumentation; Responsibility and Citizenship, as possibilities for developing AC for students. Since these competences assist in the development of the individual's argumentative capacity in relation to the environment that surrounds him. In addition to understanding the possibilities of implementing Scientific Literacy, it is convenient to think about the need for investments and structural equipment in schools, which can help in the development and expansion of AC in the social environment.

La metodología cualitativa, a través de la investigación bibliográfica, permitió a los autores reflexionar sobre el tema, haciendo una relación con las ideas de los teóricos que se ocupan de la Alfabetización Científica. AC se entiende como un proceso que tiene lugar dentro y fuera de la escuela, lo que implica la generación de diálogos y acorta la distancia entre la cultura experiencial de los sujetos y el conocimiento científico. La AC también es capaz de promover las condiciones necesarias para llevar a cabo lecturas críticas e interpretaciones de la realidad, siendo una invitación a participar en el debate de la comunidad, brindando a las personas la aptitud para la toma de decisiones consciente y responsable, lo que puede llevar intervenciones al espacio donde el sujeto si está insertado. La discusión señala las competencias: conocimiento; Pensamiento científico, crítico y creativo; Argumentación; Responsabilidad y ciudadanía, como posibilidades para desarrollar CA para estudiantes. Dado que estas competencias ayudan en el desarrollo de la capacidad argumentativa del individuo en relación con el entorno que lo rodea. Además de comprender las posibilidades de implementar la Alfabetización Científica, es conveniente pensar en la necesidad de inversiones y equipos estructurales en las escuelas, lo que puede ayudar en el desarrollo y la expansión de la AC en el entorno social.Este trabalho objetiva refletir sobre a Alfabetização Científica (AC), averiguando possíveis interações desse tema entre cinco competências gerais da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) no âmbito da Educação Básica. A metodologia de cunho qualitativo, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, possibilitou aos autores refletirem sobre o tema, fazendo uma relação com as ideias de teóricos que versam sobre a Alfabetização Científica. A AC é compreendida como um processo que ocorre dentro e fora da escola, implicando na geração de diálogos e no encurtamento da distância entre a cultura experiencial dos sujeitos e o conhecimento científico. A AC também é capaz de promover as condições necessárias à realização de leituras e interpretações críticas da realidade, sendo um convite para participação no debate comunitário, propiciando às pessoas aptidão para conscientes e responsáveis tomadas de decisões, que podem trazer intervenções para o espaço onde o sujeito se está inserido. A discussão aponta as competências: Conhecimento; Pensamento Científico, Crítico e Criativo; Argumentação; Responsabilidade e Cidadania, como possibilidades de desenvolvimento da AC aos alunos.
