Teaching experience during the pandemic: report of the challenges in the search for an engaged pedagogy

Resumo: Social isolation as a measure to contain the growth of cases of people infected by the covid-19 pandemic has caused profound changes in human experiences, which also implies as in the educational context. This Experience Report presents the narrative of a young teacher who is currently also a master's student in Psychology from the Bahian School of Medicine and Public Health. The objective of this narrative is to describe and analyze the perception of experience of teaching practice during the period of covid-19 and its implications in teaching as well as in the relations established with students in the university, from the understanding of an engaged pedagogy. I conclude that the experience of this report is not finished here, because I believe that new processes of reflection, tensions and new opportunities to discover can happen. It is considered that the pandemic of the new coronavirus has had an impact on the various areas of human experience, including education as well as in the relationships that occurred in this context where the teacher and the student are fundamental pieces.

Este Informe de Experiencia presenta la narrativa de un joven docente que actualmente también es estudiante de maestría en Psicología de la Escuela Bahiana de Medicina y Salud Pública. El objetivo de esta narrativa es describir y analizar la percepción de la experiencia de la práctica docente durante el período de covid-19 y sus implicaciones en la enseñanza así como en las relaciones establecidas con los estudiantes en la universidad, desde la comprensión de una pedagogía comprometida. Concluyo que la experiencia de este informe no ha terminado aquí, porque creo que pueden ocurrir nuevos procesos de reflexión, tensiones y nuevas oportunidades para descubrir. Se considera que la pandemia del nuevo coronavirus ha tenido un impacto en las diversas áreas de la experiencia humana, incluida la educación, así como en las relaciones que se produjeron en este contexto donde el profesor y el alumno son piezas fundamentales.O isolamento social como medida para conter o crescimento dos casos de pessoas infectadas pela pandemia do covid-19 tem causado profundas alterações nas experiências humanas, isso implica também como no contexto educacional. O presente Relato de Experiência apresenta a narrativa de uma jovem professora que no momento também é aluna do mestrado em Psicologia pela Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. O objetivo da presente narrativa está em descrever e analisar a percepção de vivência da prática docente, durante período do covid-19 e suas implicações na docência quanto nas relações que se estabelece com o os estudantes na universidade, a partir da compreensão de uma pedagogia engajada. Concluo que a experiência deste relato não se finda aqui, por acreditar que novos processos de reflexão, tensionamentos e novas oportunidades de descortinar possam acontecer.
