Resumo: The World Health Organization defines lifestyle as the set of habits and customs that are influenced, modified, encouraged or inhibited by the prolonged socialization process. On the other hand, health promotion is anchored in the trinomial integrality, health-disease and care. Objective: To analyze the interfaces between lifestyle and health promotion of university professors. Methodology: quantitative, descriptive study, carried out in a public higher education institution located in a municipality in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The Questionnaire called Fantastic Lifestyle was applied to apprehend lifestyles and the analysis was used by descriptive statistics by the Excel program. Results: The population is composed mostly of women, aged around 50 years, with an average time of 16 years, married and without children. The teaching population presented "Behavior with health and sexual and other behaviors" as the healthiest; the domain "Work and type of behavior" what needs to improve and the domain "Physical activity" the Identify work at the university as a stressing factor of importance, but report being able to control stress in their daily work. They are sensitive to health promotion actions and are therefore attentive to feelings of haste and tension, and there are positive thoughts of a pleasurable work.

Por otro lado, la promoción de la salud está anclada en la integralidad trinomio, la enfermedad de la salud y la atención. Objetivo: Analizar las interfaces entre el estilo de vida y la promoción de la salud de los profesores universitarios. Metodología: estudio cuantitativo y descriptivo, realizado en una institución pública de educación superior ubicada en un municipio del estado de Río de Janeiro. El Cuestionario llamado Estilo de Vida Fantástico se aplicó para aprehender estilos de vida y el análisis fue utilizado por estadísticas descriptivas por el programa Excel. Resultados: La población está compuesta principalmente por mujeres, de alrededor de 50 años, con un tiempo promedio de 16 años, casadas y sin hijos. La población docente presentó "Comportamiento con salud y comportamientos sexuales y de otro tipo" como los más saludables; el dominio "Trabajo y tipo de comportamiento" lo que necesita mejorar y el dominio "Actividad física" el Identificar el trabajo en la universidad como un factor de tensión de importancia, pero reportar ser capaz de controlar el estrés en su trabajo diario. Son sensibles a las acciones de promoción de la salud y, por lo tanto, están atentos a los sentimientos de prisa y tensión, y hay pensamientos positivos de una obra placentera.A Organização Mundial da Saúde define estilo de vida como o conjunto de hábitos e costumes que são influenciados, modificados, encorajados ou inibidos pelo prolongado processo de socialização. Promoção da saúde ancora-se no trinômio integralidade, saúde-doença e cuidado. Objetivo: Analisar as interfaces entre o estilo de vida e promoção à saúde de docentes universitários. Metodologia: estudo quantitativo, descritivo, realizado em uma de instituição de ensino superior pública localizada em município do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Foi aplicado o Questionário denominado Estilo de Vida Fantástico para apreensão dos estilos de vida e a análise foi por meio de uso de estatística descritiva pelo programa Excel. Resultados: A população é composta, em sua grande maioria, por mulheres, com idade em torno de 50 anos, com tempo médio de 16 anos de atuação, casadas e sem filhos. A população docente apresentou o “Comportamento com a saúde e sexual e outras condutas” como o mais saudável; o domínio “Trabalho e tipo de comportamento” o que precisa melhorar e o domínio “Atividade física” o Identificam o trabalho na universidade como um fator estressor de importância, mas informam serem capazes de controlar o estresse em seu cotidiano de trabalho.
