Teacher-mediated learning: a vygotskyan approach

Resumo: This article aims to reflect on teacher-mediated learning according to Vygotsky's approach. Through a qualitative study of a theoretical nature, we sought to analyze the concepts of mediation and Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), to understand how a mediating teacher can enable effective learning in the students. The mediating teacher appears as a figure of paramount importance for the development of the student and his / her learning, leading him to interact with the environment in the search for a contextual knowledge elaborated from social exchanges. Through this study, it was possible to highlight the importance of the role of the teacher as mediator of the learning processes, therefore, as a fundamental figure to develop it in the teaching processes.

Por medio de un estudio cualitativo de cuño teórico, se buscó analizar los conceptos de mediación y de Zona de Desarrollo Proximal (ZDP), para entonces entender de qué manera un profesor mediador puede posibilitar efectivos aprendizajes en los alumnos. El profesor mediador surge como una figura de suma importancia para el desarrollo del alumno y de su aprendizaje, llevándolo a interactuar con el medio en la búsqueda de un conocimiento contextual elaborado a partir de los intercambios sociales. Por medio de este estudio, se pudo evidenciar la importancia del papel del profesor como mediador de los procesos de aprendizaje, por lo tanto, como figura fundamental para desarrollarla en los procesos de enseñanza.Este artigo visa refletir acerca da aprendizagem mediada pelo professor segundo a abordagem de Vygotsky. Por meio de um estudo qualitativo de cunho teórico, buscou-se analisar os conceitos de mediação e de Zona de Desenvolvimento Proximal (ZDP), para então entender de que maneira um professor mediador pode possibilitar efetivas aprendizagens nos alunos. O professor mediador surge como uma figura de suma importância para o desenvolvimento do aluno e de seu aprendizado, levando-o a interagir com o meio na busca de um conhecimento contextual elaborado a partir das trocas sociais.
