Global production landscape about Mathematics Teacher’s Specialized Knowledge at Google Scholar until 2019

Resumo: | The aim is to map the global scientific production (national and international) referring to the theoretical framework Mathematics Teacher’s Specialized Knowledge - MTSK in the Google Scholar database between 2011 and 2019. For this purpose, we carried out a descriptive-bibliographic research of bibliometric character in the referred database. We started from a set of 799 works, of which 323 formed the corpus of analysis regarding the categories: (i) distribution of production per year, (ii) authors, (iii) languages, (iv) types of production. The results show a much larger number of works and authors (315) involved with MTSK than those previously found. Given its characteristics, we concluded, in line with previous studies, that there is a substantial increase in production, that there is a more prolific group of researchers working collaboratively and internationally, with a predominance of articles in Spanish and Portuguese, among others. As a novelty, we identified an increase in MTSK production in Brazil proportionally much greater than the global one, a consistent annual increase in the entry of new researchers, more types of publications and their relevance, among others. In the face of this scenario of increasing interest and dissemination of the MTSK framework, we point out to those who may be interested in our results and highlight the paths of new research in progress. |

Para ello, se realizó una investigación descriptivo-bibliográfica de carácter bibliométrico en la referida base de datos. Partimos de un conjunto de 799 trabajos, de los cuales 323 conformaron el corpus de análisis en las categorías: (i) distribución de la producción por año, (ii) autores, (iii) idiomas, (iv) tipos de producción. Los resultados muestran un número mucho mayor de trabajos y autores (315) involucrados con MTSK que los encontrados anteriormente. Por sus características, concluimos, en línea con estudios previos, que hay un aumento sustancial de la producción, que hay un grupo de investigadores más prolífico que trabaja de manera colaborativa e internacional, con predominio de artículos en español y portugués, entre otros. Como novedad, identificamos que hubo un aumento en la producción de MTSK en Brasil proporcionalmente mucho mayor que la global, un aumento anual consistente en la entrada de nuevos investigadores, más tipos de publicaciones y su relevancia, entre otros. Finalmente, ante este escenario de creciente interés y difusión del marco MTSK, señalamos a quienes puedan estar interesados en nuestros resultados y destacamos los caminos de nuevas investigaciones en curso.O objetivo do trabalho é realizar um mapeamento da produção científica global (nacional e internacional) referente ao marco teórico Mathematics Teacher’s Specialized Knowledge - MTSK na base de dados Google Scholar entre 2011 e 2019. Para tanto, realizamos uma pesquisa de aproximação descritiva-bibliográfica de caráter bibliométrico na base de dados referida. Partimos de um conjunto de 799 trabalhos, dos quais 323 formaram o corpus de análise quanto às categorias: (i) distribuição da produção por ano, (ii) autores, (iii) idiomas, (iv) tipos de produção. Os resultados mostram uma quantidade de trabalhos e de autores (315) envolvidos com MTSK muito superior aos encontrados anteriormente. Diante de suas características, concluímos, em consonância com estudos antecedentes, que há aumento substancial da produção, que há um núcleo de pesquisadores mais prolífico que trabalham colaborativa e internacionalmente, com predomínio de artigos em espanhol e português, dentre outros. Como novidade, identificamos que houve um crescimento da produção MTSK no Brasil proporcionalmente muito maior do que a global, um consistente aumento anual de ingresso de novos pesquisadores, mais tipos de publicações e sua relevância, dentre outros.
