Resumo: | Digital education can be defined as the practice of using technological means in teaching methods, which allows for more dynamic learning processes. During the covid-19 pandemic, measures of government protection and social distancing were installed, which caused the suspension of in-person classes and guided the adaptation of methodologies for digital education. The main objective of this study was to assess the importance of digital education in the training of health professionals and, more specifically, to describe how digital education influenced the training of nursing professionals during the first year of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as and to discuss the importance of digital education in the training of health professionals. This study is a descriptive research, with a search for articles carried out in digital libraries. Digital education became the main teaching method during the pandemic, as it favored the access of several students to the classroom, and this occurred at a time of the pandemic when the number of infected people continued to grow. Appropriately used, digital education has numerous possibilities in the training of health professionals and permanent discussions are needed regarding the strategies used in DE, so that this method can be improved. ED has transformed the educational landscape and contributes, when used correctly, to the replacement of passive and archaic teaching with an interactive teaching method. |
