The importance of contextualization in pedagogical practice

Resumo: | This article aims to discuss the importance of contextualization in pedagogical practice, enabling the reflection on meaningful learning, which occurs through the relationship between students' personal experiences and the school curriculum. Recognizing that learning should be a dialogical process, the concept is reaffirmed that it is through dialogue that the teacher knows the student, identifies their thinking and, only then, can reflect on the changes necessary to favor their development. Through bibliographic research it was found that when students can relate the contents studied in the classroom with situations experienced in everyday life, the results are more satisfactory in terms of learning. |

Through bibliographic research it was found that when students can relate the contents studied in the classroom with situations experienced in everyday life, the results are more satisfactory in terms of learning.Este artículo tiene como objetivo discutir la importancia de la contextualización en la práctica pedagógica, permitiendo la reflexión sobre el aprendizaje significativo, que ocurre a través de la relación entre las experiencias personales de los estudiantes y el currículo escolar. Reconociendo que el aprendizaje debe ser un proceso dialógico, se reafirma el concepto de que es a través del diálogo que el maestro conoce al alumno, identifica su pensamiento y, solo entonces, puede reflexionar sobre los cambios necesarios para favorecer su desarrollo. A través de la investigación bibliográfica se descubrió que cuando los estudiantes pueden relacionar los contenidos estudiados en el aula con situaciones experimentadas en la vida cotidiana, los resultados son más satisfactorios en términos de aprendizaje.O presente artigo tem por objetivo discutir a importância da contextualização na prática pedagógica, viabilizando a reflexão sobre a aprendizagem significativa, que se dá por meio da relação entre as vivências pessoais dos alunos e o currículo escolar. Reconhecendo que a aprendizagem deve ser um processo dialógico, reafirma-se a concepção de que é através do diálogo que o professor conhece o aluno, identifica sua forma de pensar e, somente assim, pode refletir sobre as mudanças necessárias para favorecer seu desenvolvimento.
