Field Education Challenges: Science teaching and the reality of the Santo Antonio community

Resumo: The main objective of this research was to analyze the difficulties faced by students in contextualizing the contents of the 9th of Elementary School Natural Sciences with the local reality and specific of the Santo Antônio community, at the Santo Antônio Annex multiseriate school. Through a field research with a qualitative approach, was interviewed fathers and students and also documentary research was done. The results indicate that the rural schools are not prepared to contribute to the development of individuals in order to give a perspective of the contents to their way of life, and may directly influence the learning process of and the campo students, and may discourage them. It was identified that the lack of training of professional affect the preparation of classes appropriate to the wishes of students and the community. In addition, the heterogeneity of class, content and age range was one of the main reasons for the difficulty in performing school planning, resulting in classes in the seriate model. It also highlights the need for the school and community to be partners not only in the formation of scientific knowledge, but also in their valorization through Curricular Planning that contextualizes with the reality of the community, based on its culture and experiences. Thus, the education the campo needs to be committed to a curriculum planning that brings meanings to students' lives as subjects of the field, so that their culture is valued and used as a basis in the construction of teaching and learning, seeking strategies that contemplate the identity of the student country man.

Por medio de una investigación de campo con abordaje cualitativo se han entrevistado a alumnos y padres, y también se realizó una investigación documental. Los resultados señalan que las escuelas del campo no están preparadas para contribuir en el desarrollo de los individuos en el sentido de darles una perspectiva de los contenidos a su modo de vida, pudiendo influir directamente en el proceso de Enseñanza Aprendizaje de los alumnos del Campo, pudiendo desestimularles. Ha sido identificado que la falta de formación de los profesionales afecta el preparo de clases adecuadas a los anhelos de los alumnos y comunidad. Además, la heterogeneidad de series, contenidos y rango de edad ha sido uno de los principales motivos de la dificultad en realizar el planeamiento escolar, resultando en clases en el modelo de seriación. También se evidencia la necesidad de que la escuela y la comunidad sean compañeras no solamente en la formación de los saberes científicos, sino también en la valoración de estos por medio del Planeamiento Curricular que contextualice con la realidad de la comunidad, teniendo como base su cultura y vicisitudes. Así, la Educación del Campo necesita estar comprometida con un planeamiento curricular que traiga significados para la vida de los alumnos como sujetos del campo, de forma que su cultura sea valorada y usada como base en la construcción de la enseñanza aprendizaje, buscando estrategias que contemplen la identidad del hombre campesino.O principal objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar as dificuldades enfrentadas pelos alunos em contextualizar os conteúdos de Ciências da Natureza do 9º ano com a realidade e especificidades da comunidade Santo Antônio, na escola multisseriada Santo Antônio Anexo. Por meio de uma pesquisa de campo, com abordagem qualitativa, e de uma investigação documental, entrevistou-se alunos e pais. Os resultados sinalizaram que as escolas do campo não estão preparadas para contribuir no desenvolvimento dos indivíduos, no sentido de dar uma perspectiva de atrelar os conteúdos estudados ao modo de vida desses cidadãos, o que influencia negativamente no processo Ensino e Aprendizagem dos alunos do campo, desestimulando-os. Foi identificado, também, que a falta de formação dos profissionais afeta o preparo de aulas adequadas aos anseios dos alunos e daquele povo. Além disso, a heterogeneidade de séries, os conteúdos e a faixa etária foi um dos principais motivos da dificuldade em realizar o planejamento escolar, resultando em aulas no modelo de seriação. Também se evidencia a necessidade da escola e da comunidade serem parceiras não somente na formação dos saberes científicos, mas na valorização destes por meio de Planejamento Curricular que contextualize a realidade desse grupo, tendo como base sua cultura e vivências.
