Interdisciplinary practices in environmental education: paths to sustainability

Resumo: | Environmental Education is characterized as an integrated, continuous and permanent educational practice in the socio-environmental dimension and must be seen as a “transversal” theme, which can be addressed in the curricula of different areas of knowledge. It is essential to emphasize that right to quality education regarding environmental practices must be considered and prioritized in its development, as this will enable the consolidation of subsidies for the accomplishment of an effective and qualified work, that results in balance of the healthy environment for all life forms. The goal of this work is, through a theoretical approach, to bring to discussion the importance of interdisciplinarity in the context of Environmental Education and its contribution to the sensitization of the human being as part of the ecological system and to treat the theme in a systemic way, from the perspective of the set of Sustainable Development Goals-Agenda 2030. The method used was the inductive one, because from the relationship between particular basic statements, it allows to reach a general conclusion.Therefore, it can be inferred that the environmental dimension is configured as an issue that concerns a set of actors from the educational, pedagogical and substantial universe, enhancing the involvement of the various knowledge systems, necessary to promote the debate and the search for results, constituting the Environmental Education as an instrument for sustainable development. |

Es imprescindible resaltar que el derecho a una educación de calidad en las prácticas ambientales debe ser pensado y priorizado en su desarrollo, ya que esto permitirá la consolidación de subsidios para la realización de un trabajo eficaz y de calidad, que resulte en equilibrio del medio ambiente saludable para todas las formas de vida. El objetivo de este trabajo es a través de un enfoque teórico, traer a la discusión la importancia de la interdisciplinariedad en el contexto de la Educación Ambiental y su aporte a la sensibilización del ser humano como parte del sistema ecológico y, aún, tratar de manera sistémica el tema, bajo la óptica del conjunto de Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible-Agenda 2030. El método utilizado e inductivo, ya que partiendo de la relación entre determinadas frases básicas, nos permite llegar a una conclusión general.Ante lo expuesto, se puede inferir que la dimensión ambiental se configura como un tema que concierne a un conjunto de actores del universo educativo, pedagógico y sustancial, potenciando la implicación de los diversos sistemas de conocimiento, necesarios para promover el debate y la búsqueda por resultados, constituyendo la Educación Ambiental como un instrumento para el desarrollo sostenible.A Educação Ambiental caracteriza-se como uma prática educativa integrada, contínua e permanente na dimensão socioambiental e deve ser vista como um tema “transversal”, que pode ser abordado nos currículos das diferentes áreas do conhecimento. É imprescindível salientar que o direito à educação de qualidade referente às práticas ambientais deve ser pensado e priorizado em seu desenvolvimento, pois esse possibilitará a consolidação de subsídios para a efetivação de um trabalho eficaz e de qualidade, que resulte em equilíbrio do ambiente saudável para todas as formas de vida. O objetivo deste trabalho é através de uma abordagem teórica, trazer para a discussão a importância da interdisciplinaridade no contexto da Educação Ambiental e sua contribuição para a sensibilização do ser humano como integrante do sistema ecológico e, ainda tratar de forma sistêmica o tema, sob a ótica do conjunto dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável-Agenda 2030. O método utilizado é indutivo, uma vez que a partir da relação entre enunciados básicos particulares, permite chegar a uma conclusão geral.
