Resumo: Proper nutrition is essential for achieving health and quality of life, as many diseases in today's society are directly related to our habits and can be prevented through minor daily changes. To this end, this article aims to present the project experience report developed with a group of students of youth and adult education, which used labels to quantify the sugars in foods, providing reflection on the composition of foods. and its nutrients as a starting point for the healthy eating approach. Through the reported experience, it becomes possible to verify the importance of promoting spaces for discussion in schools about the practice of a balanced diet, so that students may take a critical stance regarding the information and food to be consumed.

Con este fin, este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar el informe de experiencia del proyecto desarrollado con un grupo de estudiantes de educación de jóvenes y adultos, que utilizó etiquetas para cuantificar los azúcares en los alimentos, proporcionando una reflexión sobre la composición de los alimentos. y sus nutrientes como punto de partida para el enfoque de alimentación saludable. A través de la experiencia reportada, se hace posible verificar la importancia de promover espacios de discusión en las escuelas sobre la práctica de una dieta equilibrada, para que los estudiantes puedan adoptar una postura crítica con respecto a la información y los alimentos que se consumirán.Uma alimentação adequada é essencial para a obtenção de saúde e qualidade de vida, visto que muitas doenças existentes na sociedade atual estão diretamente relacionadas aos nossos hábitos e podem ser evitadas através de pequenas mudanças diárias. Neste intuito, o presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar o relato de experiência de projeto desenvolvido com um grupo de estudantes da educação de jovens e adultos, que se utilizou de rótulos para quantificar os açúcares existentes nos alimentos, proporcionando a reflexão sobre a composição de alimentos e seus nutrientes, como ponto de partida para a abordagem sobre alimentação saudável.
