Resumo: | With advances in the scientific and technological fields, changes in health care models and health needs of the population, it is important to renew and broaden the knowledge of the multiprofessional team that works in Primary Care, since more and more professionals are required able to meet the health needs of the user and the service. This study aimed to investigate the sociodemographic, training and qualification characteristics of health professionals working in Primary Care in the city of Araranguá / SC. Methods: Descriptive, quantitative and transversal study, which was applied to health professionals, using a structured questionnaire for data collection. Results: 56 health professionals participated in the study, of which 46.6% were female, 57% were between 31 and 40 years of age, 62.5% had specialization, and 78.5 had some type of training in the last one five years. Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrate that health professionals working in Araranguá seek to carry out specializations and training, which is important for professional improvement and for changes in practice in services. Supported by the fact that professionals are already seeking qualification, it is suggested to encourage training as a qualification strategy for the Primary Care Network of the Municipality of Araranguá. The partnership with training institutions has a fundamental role, in the sense of reaffirming the importance of the teaching-service-community interaction, including the insertion of students from courses in the area in practice scenarios, as well as investments in multiprofessional residency programs. |

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar las características sociodemográficas, de capacitación y calificación de los profesionales de la salud que trabajan en Atención Primaria en el municipio de Araranguá/SC. Estudio descriptivo, cuantitativo y transversal, que se aplicó a profesionales de la salud, utilizando un cuestionario estructurado para la recolección de datos. 56 profesionales de la salud participaron en la investigación, de los cuales 46.4% son mujeres, 57% están en el grupo de edad entre 31 y 40 años, 62.5% tienen especialización, 78.5% realizaron algún tipo de entrenamiento en los últimos cinco años. Los resultados de este estudio demuestran que los profesionales de la salud que trabajan en Araranguá buscan llevar a cabo especializaciones y capacitación, lo cual es importante para la mejora profesional y para los cambios en la práctica de los servicios. Respaldado por el hecho de que los profesionales ya están buscando calificación, se sugiere fomentar la capacitación como estrategia de calificación para la Red de Atención Primaria del Municipio de Araranguá. La asociación con instituciones de capacitación tiene un papel fundamental, en el sentido de reafirmar la importancia de la interacción entre la enseñanza, el servicio y la comunidad, incluida la inserción de estudiantes de cursos en el área en entornos prácticos, así como las inversiones en programas de residencia multiprofesionales.Com avanços nos campos científicos, tecnológicos, mudanças dos modelos assistenciais e das necessidades de saúde da população, nota-se a importância de renovar e ampliar os conhecimentos da equipe multiprofissional que atua na Atenção Básica, pois se exige cada vez mais um profissional capacitado para atender as necessidades em saúde do usuário e do serviço. Este estudo objetivou investigar as características sociodemográficas, de formação e qualificação dos profissionais de saúde que atuam na Atenção Básica do município de Araranguá/SC. Estudo descritivo, quantitativo e transversal, que foi aplicado aos profissionais de saúde, utilizando um questionário estruturado para coleta de dados. Participaram da pesquisa 56 profissionais de saúde, sendo que destes, 46,4% são do sexo feminino, 57% encontram-se na faixa etária entre 31 a 40 anos, 62,5% tem especialização, 78,5% realizaram algum tipo de capacitação nos últimos cinco anos. Os resultados deste estudo demonstram que os profissionais de saúde atuantes em Araranguá buscam realizar especializações e capacitações, o que é importante para o aperfeiçoamento profissional e para mudanças na prática nos serviços. Apoiado no fato dos profissionais já buscarem qualificação, sugere-se o incentivo em capacitações como uma estratégia de qualificação da Rede de Atenção Básica do Município de Araranguá.
