Resumo: The action of transforming medical education recommends active teaching-learning methodologies with student participation in the construction of knowledge. This process of change is based on national curriculum guidelines, as well as on the concept of health as a social phenomenon and on the consolidation of a single, quality health system. Objective: To report the experience of medicine professors at a university in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Method: This study is an experience report of first-term academics of the Discipline IESC1 of the Medicine Course at UNIGRANRIO\AFYA. Results: The participation of medical students in the work process of the Family Health Teams (ESF), without distinction of functions or positions, in order to know the whole process and obtain significant learning focused on the reality experienced by USF professionals, ends up transforming this participation into a need to learn for them. Conclusion: The knowledge provided by the IESC discipline allows the student to develop skills to act in Primary Care in a critical and reflective way, in view of the possibility of confronting theory and practice.

Este proceso de cambio se sustenta en los lineamientos curriculares nacionales, así como en la concepción de la salud como fenómeno social y en la consolidación de un sistema de salud único y de calidad. Objetivo: Relatar la experiencia de profesores de medicina de una universidad de la ciudad de Rio de Janeiro. Método: Este estudio es un relato de experiencia de académicos de primer término de la Carrera de Medicina IESC1 de la UNIGRANRIO\AFYA. Resultados: La participación de los estudiantes de medicina en el proceso de trabajo de los Equipos de Salud de la Familia (ESF), sin distinción de funciones o cargos, con el fin de conocer todo el proceso y obtener aprendizajes significativos centrados en la realidad vivida por los profesionales de las USF, acaba transformando esta participación en una necesidad de aprender por ellos. Conclusión: Los conocimientos proporcionados por la disciplina IESC permiten al estudiante desarrollar habilidades para actuar en la Atención Primaria de manera crítica y reflexiva, ante la posibilidad de confrontar la teoría y la práctica.A ação de transformação da educação médica recomenda metodologias ativas de ensino aprendizagem com a participação do estudante na construção do conhecimento. Esse processo de mudança se sustenta nas diretrizes curriculares nacionais, bem como na concepção de saúde como fenômeno social e na consolidação de um sistema de saúde único e de qualidade. Objetivo: Relatar a experiência vivenciada pelos docentes de medicina de uma universidade da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Método: Este estudo trata-se de um relato de experiência dos acadêmicos de primeiro período da Disciplina IESC1 do Curso de medicina da UNIGRANRIO\AFYA. Resultados:A participação dos acadêmicos de medicina no processo de trabalho das Equipes de Saúde da Família (ESF), sem distinção de funções ou cargos, a fim de conhecer todo o processo e obterem aprendizagem significativa com foco na realidade vivenciadas pelos profissionais da USF, acaba transformando essa participação em uma necessidade de aprender para eles.
