Resumo: | This study aimed to describe the strengths and weaknesses of child and adolescent health in the perception of Physical Education teachers at a university in Ceará. Study participants comprised 13 teachers. For this, the interviews were carried out individually and following the semi-structured interview model, due to the subjectivity of the questions that were analyzed. First, the participants' data was collected, then the recorded interview was carried out. In addition to Minayo's thematic analysis, the IRAMUTEQ software was used. The result was a total of 13 texts with 771 number of occurrences, 267 number of shapes, with the number of hapax, which are words that appear only once, 174 (22.57% of occurrences - 65.17% of shapes) and with an average of occurrences per text of 59.31. It is concluded with the realization of this research, the fragility of the theme child and adolescent health by the perception of the teachers of the degree course in Physical Education at the State University of Ceará. The results demonstrated the subjectivity in dealing with this subject in the disciplines. It is considered, therefore, that despite the results indicating that the teachers knew the PPC of the course, a considerable portion said they did not consult it and a smaller group said they did not know it. Given the importance of this theme, it is suggested, for the next elaboration of the political project of the course, greater attention to CAH in the disciplines' syllabuses and, during the next pedagogical journey, a moment for discussion on this subject, taking into account some action to work on interdisciplinarity. |

Los participantes del estudio fueron 13 profesores. Para ello, las entrevistas se realizaron de forma individual y siguiendo el modelo de entrevista semiestructurada, debido a la subjetividad de las preguntas que se analizaron. Primero, se recopilaron los datos de los participantes, luego se llevó a cabo la entrevista grabada. Además del análisis temático de Minayo, se utilizó el software IRAMUTEQ. El resultado fue un total de 13 textos con 771 ocurrencias, 267 cantidad de formas, con la cantidad de hapax, que son palabras que aparecen solo una vez, 174 (22,57% de ocurrencias - 65,17% de formas) y con un promedio de ocurrencias por texto de 59.31. Se concluye con esta investigación, la fragilidad del tema de la salud del niño y del adolescente según lo perciben los docentes de la carrera de Educación Física de la Universidad Estatal de Ceará. Los resultados demostraron la subjetividad al tratar este tema en las disciplinas. Se considera, por tanto, que a pesar de que los resultados indican que los docentes conocían el PPC del curso, una parte considerable dijo no consultarlo y un grupo más reducido dijo no conocerlo. Dada la importancia de este tema, se sugiere, para la próxima elaboración del proyecto político de la asignatura, una mayor atención a la SCA en los temarios de las disciplinas y, durante el próximo recorrido pedagógico, un momento de discusión sobre este tema, teniendo en cuenta alguna acción para trabajar la interdisciplinariedad.Objetivou-se descrever as potencialidades e fragilidades sobre saúde da criança e do adolescente na percepção dos professores de Licenciatura em Educação Física de uma universidade no Ceará. Os participantes do estudo compreenderam 13 professores. Para isso, as entrevistas foram realizadas individualmente e seguindo o modelo de entrevista semiestruturada, em virtude da subjetividade das questões que foram analisadas. Primeiramente, foi coletado os dados dos participantes, em seguida foi realizada a entrevista gravada. Além da análise temática de Minayo, foi utilizado o software IRAMUTEQ. Tivemos como resultado um total de 13 textos com 771 números de ocorrências, 267 números de formas, com o número de hápax, que são palavras que aparecem só uma vez, 174 (22.57% de ocorrências – 65.17% de formas) e com uma média de ocorrências por texto de 59.31. Conclui-se com a realização dessa pesquisa, a fragilidade do tema saúde da criança e do adolescente pela percepção dos professores do curso de licenciatura em Educação Física da Universidade Estadual do Ceará. Os resultados demonstraram a subjetividade em tratar esse assunto nas disciplinas. Considera-se, portanto, que apesar dos resultados indicarem que os professores conhecessem o PPC do curso, uma parcela considerável disse que não consultava e um grupo menor disse que não conhecia.
