Resumo: Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum active ingredient used in the control of annual and / or perennial weeds, has a post-emergent, non-selective and systemic action, widely used in agricultural activities, and is not different in the municipality of Teófilo Otoni. This study aims to study the consumption of glyphosate in the municipality during 2017 and 2018 and compare the consumption curve during the year and the most sold commercial products. Through field research at the Minas Gerais Institute of Agriculture (IMA), sales surveys were conducted on the basis of the pesticide trade control system (SICCA). There was no significant increase between the years, however variations can be noticed during the months of the year where the consumption increased with the highest rainfall during the period. However, the data found were inconsistent with the 2017 annual bulletin of the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA). A more detailed study is proposed in the municipality to find out where the products are most used.

Este estudio tiene como objetivo estudiar el consumo de glifosato en el municipio durante 2017 y 2018 y comparar la curva de consumo durante el año y los productos comerciales más vendidos. A través de la investigación de campo en el Instituto de Agricultura de Minas Gerais (IMA), se realizaron encuestas de ventas sobre la base del sistema de control de comercio de pesticidas (SICCA). No hubo un aumento significativo entre los años, sin embargo, se pueden notar variaciones durante los meses del año en que el consumo aumentó con la mayor precipitación durante el período. Sin embargo, los datos encontrados fueron inconsistentes con el informe anual de 2017 del Instituto Brasileño de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales Renovables (IBAMA). Se propone un estudio más detallado en el municipio para averiguar dónde se utilizan más los productos.O glifosato é um princípio ativo de largo espectro usado no controle das plantas invasoras anuais e/ou perenes, possui ação pós emergente, não seletivo e sistêmico, utilizado em grande escala nas atividades agropecuárias, não sendo diferente no município de Teófilo Otoni, o objetivo deste trabalho é estudar o consumo do glifosato no município durante o período de 2017 e 2018 e comparar a curva do consumo durante o ano e os produtos comerciais que mais foram vendidos. Através de pesquisa de campo no Instituto Mineiro de Agropecuária (IMA) foram realizados levantamentos de vendas na base do sistema de controle do comércio de agrotóxicos e afins (SICCA). Não ocorreu aumento significativo entre os anos, entretanto pode ser percebido variações durante os meses do ano onde o consumo sofreu aumento acompanhado do índice pluviométrico mais elevado durante o período. Contudo os dados encontrados apresentaram inconformidade com o boletim anual 2017 do Instituto Brasileiro do meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis (IBAMA) é proposto um estudo mais detalhado no município para averiguar onde os produtos são mais utilizados.
