The relevance of training practices to boost sales in a cosmetics company in the South of Brazil

Resumo: | In the context of Human Resources, one of the most relevant practices for the success of companies concerns the planning, execution and evaluation of training. In addition to being a way to prepare employees to take on new roles, training can be seen as necessary actions to enhance human capital in organizations. The present study aims to highlight the relevance of training practices to boost sales in a cosmetics company in the South of Brazil. The study was developed in a company located in the state of Paraná. It consists of an exploratory study, which generated qualitative data with the research participants through the application of a questionnaire. The results showed that the aforementioned company is well evaluated by customers in relation to its products, with purchases of at least 2 items per month. Another point that was well evaluated concerns the knowledge of sellers about the products offered to customers. However, points for improvement were also detected, such as the presentation of salespeople, which is not always congruent with the principles of personal marketing, as well as delays in the delivery of products to customers. The study concluded that although the company here called Cosmeticos has strengths in its area of operation, which was highlighted through a SWOT analysis, it is necessary to work on points of improvement so that its service is recognized as of quality by your customers. |

Además de ser una forma de preparar a los empleados para asumir nuevos roles, la formación puede verse como acciones necesarias para potenciar el capital humano en las organizaciones. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo resaltar la relevancia de las prácticas de capacitación para impulsar las ventas en una empresa de cosméticos en el sur de Brasil. El estudio fue desarrollado en una empresa ubicada en el estado de Paraná. Consiste en un estudio exploratorio, que generó datos cualitativos con los participantes de la investigación a través de la aplicación de un cuestionario. Los resultados arrojaron que la mencionada empresa es bien evaluada por los clientes en relación a sus productos, con compras de al menos 2 artículos al mes. Otro punto bien evaluado se refiere al conocimiento de los vendedores sobre los productos ofrecidos a los clientes. Sin embargo, también se detectaron puntos de mejora, como la presentación de los vendedores, que no siempre es congruente con los principios del marketing personal, así como retrasos en la entrega de los productos a los clientes. El estudio concluyó que si bien la empresa aquí denominada Cosméticos tiene fortalezas en su área de actuación, las cuales fueron resaltadas a través de un análisis SWOT, es necesario trabajar en puntos de mejora para que su servicio sea reconocido como de calidad por sus clientes.No contexto dos Recursos Humanos, uma das práticas mais relevantes para o sucesso das companhias é a que diz respeito ao planejamento, execução e avaliação de treinamentos. Além de ser uma forma de preparar colaboradores para assumir novas funções, os treinamentos podem ser vistos como ações necessárias para a potencialização do capital humano nas organizações. O presente estudo tem como objetivo destacar a relevância das práticas de treinamento para a potencialização das vendas numa empresas de cosméticos da Região Sul do Brasil. O estudo foi desenvolvido numa empresa situada no estado do Paraná. Consiste num estudo do tipo exploratório, o qual gerou dados qualitativos junto aos participantes da pesquisa por meio da aplicação de um questionário. Os resultados demonstraram que a referida companhia é bem avaliada pelos clientes com relação aos seus produtos, havendo compra de pelo menos 2 itens por mês. Outro ponto que fora bem avaliado diz respeito ao conhecimento dos vendedores sobre os produtos ofertados aos clientes. Entretanto, foram também detectados pontos a melhorar, como a apresentação dos vendedores que nem sempre está congruente com os princíos do marketing pessoal, bem como atrasos na entrega de produtos aos clientes.
