Route and strategies for implementing active methodologies in a higher education institution

Resumo: A cross-sectional prospective design study with a qualitative approach conducted with four professors from a University Center in Rio de Janeiro responsibles for the process of implementing Active Methodologies at the Institution's Health School. The objective of this study was to present the path of the implementation of active methodologies as a guiding basis of the teaching-learning process. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in August and September, 2019 with professors in management positions. Participants reported not having previous experience with active methodologies and highlighted immersion courses and webnais for teachers as an academic strategy. Despite evidence of initial resistance from some teachers, participants report acquiescence and adequacy in practical daily life recognizing the effectiveness of active methodologies as a guiding thread in the teaching-learning process of this higher education institution.

El objetivo de este estudio fue presentar el camino de la implementación de metodologías activas como base rectora del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas en agosto y septiembre de 2019 con profesores en puestos directivos. Los participantes informaron no tener experiencia previa con metodologías activas y destacados cursos de inmersión y webnais para profesores como estrategia académica. Apesar de la evidencia de la resistencia inicial de algunos profesores, los participantes reportan aquiescencia y adecuación en la vida cotidiana práctica reconociendo la eficacia de las metodologías activas como hilo conductor en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de esta institución de educación superior.Estudo transversal de delineamento prospectivo, com abordagem qualitativa realizado com quatro professores de um Centro Universitário no Rio de Janeiro, responsáveis pelo processo de implantação de Metodologias Ativas na Escola de Saúde da instituição. Teve por objetivo apresentar o percurso da implantação de metodologias ativas como base norteadora do processo ensino-aprendizagem. Realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas em agosto e setembro de 2019 com professores em cargos de gerência. Os participantes relataram não terem experiência anterior com metodologias ativas e destacaram cursos de imersão e webinars para os docentes como estratégia acadêmica.
